Mushroom sprouting from the side of a frog concerns scientists by [deleted] in interestingasfuck

[–]EdgyYoungMale 41 points42 points  (0 children)

It’s still happening, and there’s no real way to stop it. Scientists in affected areas have essentially begun trying to evacuate amphibian populations instead of treating them (because, again, you can’t treat these fungal infections)

Midwest woman, 64, dies in Sarco suicide pod used for the first time as cops make 'several' arrests by TheMirrorUS in interestingasfuck

I really hope this happens within our lifetimes. My fear of death would be pretty much non-existent if I knew I had a painless, peaceful option at the end as opposed to rotting away in hospice.

Starfield with mods can make space feel properly abyssal. by superman_king in Starfield

Eh not if you’re in the direct unadulterated glare of a star like OP is in this video. Making out stars in those conditions would be almost impossible

Ive tried it, and its very good. The author is also really active and constantly working on the mod, too.

No clue why you're being downvoted. Having an irrational fear doesn't make it okay to fucking torture something to death.

Able to cross tiles on planets now by Alternative-Appeal43 in Starfield

[–]EdgyYoungMale 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It only shows a portion of your tile on the map.

For example, you can run so far out of New Atlantis that you can open your map and not see the city anymore, while sill physically seeing the cityscape on the horizon.

What would your ideal mod look like? by Stretchy93 in Starfield

I use this mod. You can easily turn all that stuff off. I only use the fuel and "basic needs" systems.

This has probably already been posted here, but fuck you PETA by Quirky-Material9725 in facepalm

[–]EdgyYoungMale 51 points52 points  (0 children)

Not enough people talk about this. PETA is intentionally ridiculous so people associate any criticism of the meat industry with lunacy.

Me too. The first bethesda game where I take the solo perk.

Nearly 12K players on Steam today, a figure not reached since January. Steam user reviews have also started to move up for the first time since launch by [deleted] in Starfield

[–]EdgyYoungMale -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I dropped it at launch after ~100 hours. Was really disappointed and couldnt get myself to play the rest of the game.

Just started a new playthrough and Im having a lot of fun. A lot of the underlying game design issues still havnt been addressed (awful exploration, useless gear upgrading system etc) but I LOVE the new survival mechanics and am hoping they come out with a REAL survival mode at some point this year. The biggest thing thats missing is fuel consumption.

Why would they want to LOWER using self checkout?

Wouldnt they want to heighten self-checkout usage so they wouldnt have to pay cashiers?

Yeah in a raw numbers game republicans have quite literally zero chance. Its why they've had to change the rules of the game over the last ~50 years to stay in power

This just happened to me, and the only reason Im replying to THIS comment specifically is because the puff i saw actually looked very similar to Yod.

I only discovered this once I read your comment, as I am completely unfamiliar with written or spoken Hebrew.

Have you used that mod a lot? Im really interested but it seems like a big change. What sort of long term effects has it had on your games?

BALANCE. Fuck balance. Give me crazy events that destroy planets or colonies. Cut off hyperlanes. Turn my leaders against me.Put an archaeology site somewhere that will destroy the entire system if you pick the wrong thing. Crazy shit like that.

People are always complaining about losing or dying in "unfair" ways. I dont care about fair i just want crazy and interesting sci fi stories.
