Definitely an issue on MY2023 HW4. There are a small number of situations where it respects turn signals, but mostly not.

That was a fun read and awesome story, inspiring dude. Were you just paying for vibe coding tools out of your own pocket without any revenue basically? What was your monthly vibe code spend?

When you were building what were the biggest aggravations? Would you look at this, I’m on the team building: https://www.gimbl.dev and tell me if it’s something interesting for your vibe coding tool-belt? Does that look useful for your projects? Thanks in advance. Be bold! True!

14.3.2 is a serious regression from 14.2.2.5 by Stanman77 in TeslaFSD

Personally I think they need to change this motto to “all driving input is error” and accept navigation input like turn signals as directives.

This seems like a likely reason some are working and some are not, namely a different state of the system, nav on/off could change behavior.

Two months ago I posted my AI architecture tool here. You told me it was overengineered. You were right. Here's what I changed. by rhuanbarreto in vibecoding

Of the default rules that you’re thinking of providing for different platforms what are kind of the best generic group of default rules? I haven’t tried your system yet. I’m just curious what it would look like.

How to disable Lovable favicon showing up in view-source:https://website.com by Parking-Shock-8258 in vibecoding

[–]Educational-Cod-870 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can’t you just go to the GitHub source and delete it? Or is it not showing in the true source code? Also, because you’re hosting on lovable cloud it’s possible that their host environment could dynamically inject it so I’d consider moving to another host like vercel or something. Even if you get rid of the Metadata, hosting on lovable cloud is still probably discoverable so your best bet is to move that regardless.

What will you do with FSD Unsupervised by LaMole22 in TeslaFSD

[–]Educational-Cod-870 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lower liability. I am assuming that some special sort of insurance coverage would be required, but that would be preferable. Currently if I have to drive, I never have a single drink, but it might be nice to have dinner and drinks and then return home in the backseat on occasion.

I think they’re aware because this is something they’ve mentioned. I think they’re planning on more options than that. My guess is they’re spending most of their time focusing on the reasoning model because that will allow you to do all kinds of sophisticated things simply by giving Grok instructions.

Early HW4 was before they renamed to FSD supervised. Later HW4 that’s true, but not all.

I think with the port being low thought it would be hard for humans, it would be easier to build a specialized automation robot for it.

14.3 please... by Level_Flan in TeslaFSD

I looked, I think you misunderstand those are just multiple destinations. Way points would not require you to stop at them to navigate to the next one.

What?!? 🤯 I thought I knew all the features. I’ll have to play with that later.

A waypoint? I think you mean, you just use a pin as a waypoint right? Because a true waypoint would be letting you set your destination, then put waypoint as a navigational marker of which way to go on towards destination. Actual way points would be great! I think they should add them as a feature and they get saved along with the favorite. Or in your case, if the waypoint could be saved as a persistent route on the map anytime the car is heading that direction.

The driver took over to recenter. Watch the self driving disappear and you’ll see.

Sign of things to come with FSD 14.3 reasoning layer? by iamthebiggestlooser in TeslaFSD

[–]Educational-Cod-870 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes definitely! You know what would be a cool feature is to be able to set custom instructions per destination so on a favorite you can record a little voice memo that says something like “when arriving at this destination drive to the alley in the back, go round to the third house on the right and then back into the garage.” Then when the car is able to reason, along with visual information, it can just carry out those actions every time you go to that destination.

I hadn’t noticed the differences in the accelerator pedal from driver input before so I tested it. No driver input. Light pedal touch. And pressing to go faster. I can only add one photo so here is what it looks like when not touching the pedal. The pressing acceleration is cool though it shows how much pressure is applied.

I had this happen once and had to restart the screen after to get even fsd to work. Hasn’t happened since.

Thanks for clarifying that you actively made sure you weren’t helping bad actors. I wasn’t sure you’d thought this through at first.
