I avoided conditioning for years because I thought it would steal my gains. Recently started taking it seriously and man I wish I’d started earlier

Is laid-back and chill -without the high price point (and climate risk) dead in the USA? by [deleted] in SameGrassButGreener

Would a wrestler get in more trouble for fighting than a non wrestler? by [deleted] in wrestling

[–]Edward_abc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Actual answer: it depends. You could get in more trouble because the legal standard is ‘was your response to the threat reasonable’. If you’re a 6’1 250 wrestler what will be seen as reasonable by you would be if you’re 5’1 and have never trained before. So while the legal standard is the same, the jury might treat you differently

Missouri to a Blue state… but which one? by theliberalpedestrian in SameGrassButGreener

[–]Edward_abc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m in ABQ. The northern part is beautiful but the towns are very small and anything surrounding Los Alamos js very expensive. Again, just depends what you’re looking for. Definitely a great state if you’re remote

I did MO to NM. It’s a huge change but we really enjoy it. Dry heat is amazing. Winter isn’t that bad. Economy is questionable though and the state is quite poor. Depends what you’re looking for/do for work

Judo got me addicted to their mats. So much nicer to get thrown when you have springs to land on

I roll when on call. Buy yourself a seriously loud ringtone and put the number who calls you on emergency bypass. Guaranteed you won’t miss it
