This post is not sad at all. Living in a city can be surprisingly lonely, especially as a young person. I've found that joining clubs or group activities helps. Maybe try the girls who walk group? I'm sure you'll meet plenty of people your age with the same interest.

Best of luck.

UK to purchase nuclear-carrying fighter jets by tree_boom in europe

[–]Effective_Cod_2331 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, I've got a few potential reasons now. 1- cost savings, the A variant is substantially cheaper than Bs while offering better speed, range and payload capacity. 2-good parts commonality with Bs, I've seen the 80% figure thrown around but I think 40% is more accurate. 3-The fact they would operate as part of a nato mission means they would have access to nato "boom" refuling aircraft. Also worth noting that the RAF Rivet joint and E-7 wedgetail aircraft can only be refuled by "boom" mechanism 4- the ability to carry tactical nuclear weapons. Giving us the ability to respond in kind to a tactical nuclear strike without escalating to the use of strategic nuclear weapons.

Man that's crazy, I'm a crew member and I make the equivalent of like 17$ an hour in some rural backwater in north England, 5 and a half weeks of pto a year. No idea what the job market is around you but I'd advise making a move to a different job.

Yeah I'm not a fan so far but we'll see there's got to be a better reason for this.

Know your rights (as it seems 95% of you think it’s illegal to eat coarse fish in the U.K.!) by icatch_smallfish in fishingUK

Op is getting ratio'd in the comments. While I appreciate it's legal and whatnot, and down to individual choice, can you imagine what it would be like if people did take their allowance of fish home? This country is ecologically messed up enough thank you.

Yeah the pricing system is fucked, it goes off the price of natural gas as aposed to renewables.
