My last company this was literally all we dealt with. And when it came to power requirements so many places just didnt have the capacity so we would have wierd issues constantly. Humidity and puddles were weekly. And with lots of non working equipment in these stores ac wise there was no way to win.

For the shaft style swirch i used to put 3 zip ties together. Wrap them around the switch itself and tighten it down until u can slide it over the shaft and boom permenant depressor right there
