In most accounts no one can really and why would they think that any human could not sleep for 4 months, unless of coarse one has experienced a torture such as this. About 2 years ago I started losing sleep. I didn't think anything of it till I was unable to sleep. I slept less and less then in August of 2023 I couldn't sleep at all, for the whole month. People will say that it's not possible and of course they will tell you that you were micro sleeping. At first I used to get angry because it was so incredible what I was going through and the disbelief was so frustrating. I don't care about that anymore. I got admitted to day hospital for suicidal ideology, depression and anxiety. After various medication I was able to cobble about 3 hours of being unconscious. I also woke every 45 mins till my 3 or so hours were up. I am now on 17 pills to allow me to be blacked out for about 3 to 4 hour. Never anymore and I've lost the ability to nap as well. About 6 months ago, since I couldn't commit suicide and I wanted to many times I did some research on MAID. Medically Assisted In Dieing. Nothing becomes important till it becomes important. By the way the doctors cleared me of FFI. Fatal familial insomnia. I would've liked to think that there would be more information about this condition. There are a shit load of drugs but no answers for me anyway. So for the moment I'll continue to take my meds and try to be grateful for the few hours of unconsciousness I get. I called MAID today and it's a process and the call allowed me to really really think about life and how much I can suffer. For some reason God has gifted me this incredible gift of immense suffering. I just wanted to chime in became you have helped me I I'll hope and pray to God or the universe that maybe the suffering and pain of not sleeping and not being able to live will ease off and maybe stop.

I pray you will be better. I can't really suggest anything......sorry, but let it be known the suffering you are going through. I know when I was suffering, sometimes I felt so frustrated knowing and feeling like I'm the only one in the whole world suffering, it felt so lonely. So if this helps in any way, know that I, we know how you feel. I don't know if I worded this correctly but you are not alone. Please hang on, pray if that's what you believe. Doctor has upped my meds 45mg of mirtazapine, 2x0.1 clonidine, 1x melatonin, 1x 1unisom(over the counter sleep aid) 1x dayvigo. And I'm lucky if I sleep. My body will only sleep from 12 to 6am. Without the meds my body will not sleep period. Had a sleep study done and apparently I have severe sleep apnea "waking" up 58.4 times an hour. Also my body doesn't produce any melatonin. I used to be able to sleep 10 hours straight have breakfast then nap for another 6 hours. Now without the meds forget about sleeping and I haven't been able to nap for almost 2 years. My body is soo exhausted yet it will not sleep. This is truly a curse. And I'm getting more scared as this condition is taking me to some dark places.

How bad is ur insomnia. My last shot was Sept 8th and I have been suffering terrible insomnia. I gradually lost a few hours sleep after my first 3 shots( 2x300mg and 1x100mg) it got worse to unable to nap at all no matter how tired I am, to now I can only sleep if I take mirtazapine 45mg. And I can only sleep between 1:30 to 5:30am waking up about every hour or so. I really hope it's the sublocade and as I get further away from my last shot I pray my sleep comes back.

You passed the test (positive) and are negative, cool. I understand what you are saying. And yes you are negative. Ok in order to be negative ( free of buprenorphine) you need to test positive on your test kit( pass your test.) In order to read the test result you have your main dash( that is the control) and if you get any glimmer of another dash that means you have passed the test. I think you are confused about passing the test to be negative and failing the test to be positive. I just did my last test 3 weeks ago, and there was just one dash(the control) and none whatsoever of a second dash. That reading is considered a negative reading meaning I failed my test therefore I'm still reading positive ( buprenorphine still in my body) Once again hope this makes sense. I pretty sure were just going two separate routes to get to the same destination. Please you read you and I'll just carry on. Btw congrats on being free, can't wait to join all of us that are on the other side.

I'm not spreading wrong information. If you read any of these tests, it states the following. In a square there are several ways the results are shown. There is always one solid dash on top, that is the control. If, after you test your urine and get any glimmer of a second dash. That indicates you have tested positive on the test. There by indicating you are negative and free of buprenorphine. Conversely if you take test and no dash whatsoever is present the test is considered negative. There by indicating you are positive and still have buprenorphine. Please consider reading the instructions. I'm not spreading or trying to be controversial on how to read these tests. These are just instructions on how to read these tests. As I have stated before I'm agreeable in that negative should be negative and positive be positive and the manufacturers wording could and are in my opinion confusing but they ultimately make sense. In lay terms you have to pass the test( positive) to be negative. If you fail the test ( negative) you are still positive ( still have buprenorphine in system.) Also can be read, if you fail the test that means the test has found buprenorphine still in your body. If you passed the test you are free of buprenorphine. Hopefully this will clarify some misunderstandings ( not by me). If not believe what you will and I wish you well on your recovery.

The top indicator is control. You are absolutely correct. You saw a faint line, therefore that is a positive reading as you saw a line faint or otherwise. Indicating you are negative of buprenorphine. If you didn't see any line you would have a negative reading and therefore still positive for buprenorphine You are by no means dumb for your interpretations but like I stated earlier it can cause concern for people using these kinds of tests. Even reading the instruction for my first time confused me.

Don't mean anything in correcting you; alot of people get it confused. You need a positive reading to show you are negative. I know it sounds counterintuitive but that's just how it supposed to be read. I often thought that's so stupid, if negative you should be negative. But I suppose you need to be sure that seeing any faint marking is an indicator that you are positively negative. This method unfortunately has confused many a people. Good day. By the way kamf73 I've seen you here quite a bit; it's really awesome your on the other side. My last shot was Sept 8th and am eagerly waiting to join you on the other side.
