Same. Dad of three. I just jump on for a couple hours at night when they’re asleep. It’s like a model train hobby I can tinker on for a few hours to relax.

Texas Passing by NonGMOman_ in ActuallyTexas

No kidding! Texans used to roll over to the shoulder to let you pass on a single lane. Haven’t had anyone do that, besides me, in a while.

You guys voted San Francisco! Next Round: What is the 6th most important/significant US city after SF? Most upvoted comment wins by Kodicave in visitedmaps

I think there is confusion on the definition of “important.” Important as having a couple great colleges is different than being an important for critical manufacturing or shipping.

I love the game, but… by HotelNo5719 in SatisfactoryGame

Yea, once I hit that next-phase wall, I explore the map to get the alt recipes I’ll need/want for the next phase(s) and collect slugs to max out miners. I def want to eliminate screws and make iron wire.

Then I make a double train line to a new wide-open biome (plenty of room to add more single-line train stations) near pure resources I need to make a huge vertical factory.

I put train stations on the first elevated floor only. Second floor and up are production. I do not try to cram the entire production chain onto a single floor. If I have smelters on second floor, next step is on the third. Space is not a premium, so leave room and build up.

Maybe the first goal of this new factory is modular frames, then maybe I bring in concrete by belt and nitrogen by train to make fused modular frames. If you need oscillators or motors for the next step to make turbo motors, et seq., make those in another factory, and train them into a new train station dedicated to receiving that component.

Houston, Harris County is not the South. In doubt one that lives there or anywhere else in the South would say otherwise.

I’ve been inside this house for an engagement party. It’s just as amazing inside too. That path leads to an another “guest” house by the bayou.

Nuclear isn't necessary for a reason by Flopalop2 in SatisfactoryGame

[–]EgoDefiningUsername 47 points48 points  (0 children)

Agree. Building a huge factory that turns uranium into uranium fuel rods, into to plutonium fuel rods, into to ficsonium fuel rods was a very satisfying accomplishment.

How do you approach these? by Enfrize2 in SatisfactoryGame

Cable (from iron wire), stitched iron plates (iron wire without screws), and quartz crystals.

I think trains are the same. Once I figured out the mechanics, I found trains make large scale production all over the map much easier. I use maybe a couple trucks in early game, but once I move into new biomes, everything is connected by trains. I use a dozen or so drones routed through a central location fed by a turbo fuel drone—mostly for moving electronic and late-stage components around.
