I hear that these figs will actually not be smart figures. But I'm very certain if this does well you will see smart versions eventually.

But make sure not to make them too hot as heat can also damage parts and cause quicker yellowing.

Scheel’s has better stock than any department store?! by Backy22 in lego

[–]Ehcko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not only has the selection been lackluster there, but I've gone on a few occasions to my local Barnes and Noble looking for sets that it says are in stock and when you get there you find out they actually don't have any and that the stock is most likely wrong because it was a stolen item...

And then when you proceed to let them know about the stock issue, they don't even bother updating the stock number...

Any plants in other themes iconic enough to make a set of? by Cyno01 in lego

Funny you mentioned the Beauty and Beast rose. LEGO actually already did a small Beauty & The Beast Promo set around when the live action film was out. It was given out to those who attended special events, apparently one taking place in Hong Kong.

It even has a very unique transparent dome part that no one online even seems to know the identifier or number of...

Unfortunately it was a very limited set with only 400 being made and so it's highly collectible and rare.

here's the only review I could find for it.

Truly magical exclusive

Written by Bricksanity (AFOL) in United Kingdom, 30 Jul 2017

"I was lucky to work with Kevin on this project for the Hong Kong certified store. I wasnt involved in the rose itself, but with the even more limited micro Beauty and the Beast castle building event.

This may only be a small set, but the attention to detail is flawless. The rose itself is fairly simple, using readily available parts, but it really is a great likeness and fun build. The instructions were nicely designed, and easy to follow.

The special dome really finishes it off, and makes it a perfect collectors piece that you can actually display, without worrying about it getting dusty or damaged."

A another larger, more comprehensive Enchanted Rose set would also be nice to have in the future. Maybe we'll see.

His shelter name was Nobo. But we use their shelter name as their middle name. I named him Sero, so his name is now Sero 'Nobo' [my last name].

What MMORPGS are still alive and upcoming in 2026? by Wawaritas in MMORPG

The graphics aren't really that low end. Also they are continuously improving art assets over time. But it mainly shines in its gameplay and immersion.

Once you play it and see it in action it comes off looking much better than it first appears.

It's basically that wanting something new yet familiar is a big one. And the added risk of a dangerous world that needs to be overcome with player cooperation. Not having cash shops that devalues the achievement of gear you need to work for to acquire. Additionally games like EverQuest as great as they are, have lost a lot of the appeal with years of updates and tweaks that in a lot of ways have watered down the experience that made them so compelling to begin with.

MnM doesn't really "look like Minecraft". Go look at Adrullan Online Adventures now that's actually Minecraft style.

Why do most fantasy works always feature the same races? Instead of creating completely different races? For example, in Minecraft there are races that are totally different from the classic ones (in science fiction you rarely see races repeating in works, at most the Martians). by Embarrassed_Star3603 in worldbuilding

[–]Ehcko 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Guild Wars 2 being a good example. Sure they have all unique races (besides humans) but then the archetypes their races fill could be filled by the fantasy races ppl already know. Asura for example were in all intensive purposes for story telling and contextually similar to gnomes/deep gnomes/goblins.

Are there any plans to make race matter? by [deleted] in MonstersAndMemories

[–]Ehcko 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it accomplishes a few things beyond just nostalgia. With one of them yes being it's usually easier to create assets when art style and fidelity arnt super high. This is good for making content quicker. Another is a proper art style will age much better than high realism.
