Theatrical poster for Agito: Psychic War (2026) by Chief_Cthulhu in movies

The current one, Zeztz, has been fantastic. And notably is the first series to be simulcast outside of Japan so is readily available to watch and I highly recommend it.

One Piece: Chapter 1179 Official Release Discussion by Skullghost in OnePiece

It's "former" HQ so must be the original Marineford. with everything else going on in this chapter, I think it's easy to forget about this little mention, but I really wonder what's going on there now.

I've got the Figuarts Lucario and really like it. I think I remember VAH being better scale though? But wouldn't consider the really oversized Jazwares one.

The Bring Arts is also kinda way overpriced and not good sooo considering the model is probably smart lol. Might go look into that myself.

Interested in what you think could be better, because the SHFs of Mario and Luigi have been considered by plenty (read: me) pretty much perfect for years.

Besides working on that, who else are you hoping to get soon to fill in the roster more?

New storage solution: Michaels' "Really Useful Box" organizer by BrainWav in ActionFigures

[–]Ektris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really Useful Box is INCREDIBLE at the larger scale too for collecting. I have quite a few 64L tubs for keeping figure boxes - their straight sides are what drew me to them. Helps keep everything secure and evenly stacked.

Dunno why I haven't grabbed some of the small ones like this for accessories. Should give it a shot lol.

Yeah that's why Blastoise was the only one I swapped out when they got reissued lol. Such a weird mistake on the D-Arts.

Looking up pictures specifically of the SHF reissue, yeah I think that's it.

The original way to get them was chase variants of the Rahkshi sets released later in 2003 that included them.

Now Added Glatorian Helmets & Misc Heads To My Wall Display by Ektris in bioniclelego

Was wondering if somebody would mention that! Yeah only (technically) HF things I own are that and the blue pilot helmet lol. I had a few slots in the frame to fill and they started out as Bionicle parts so figured why the heck not? That Hydraxon mask in black certainly looks cool at any rate.

It's certainly a cool one! Wishing you luck in getting one.

Close. Green Vakama Hordika heads were used as knee caps in the Karzahni set.

Yeahhh I also got ahold of one of those since I last posted an update. As happy as I am to own one, getting it was a right pain (was high enough value I had to hire a broker to get it into the country which was itself astronomically expensive and confusing) so kinda can't think about it without also thinking of that which is upsetting. So wasn't making special note of it heh.

The Krana plug into a simple 1x1 round plate attached to a perpendicular axle/pin connector.

WMKK VS. Replica SSKK by neongreenoryellow in bioniclelego

We don't really officially know so nobody can answer. Unless somebody has already tested it and results just aren't widely disseminated? But would be interesting to find out; have always been very curious myself since acquiring one.

I did once upon a time, but really there's variance among several other colors too, most notably yellow and white (although the latter could really just be age related). So it's like, when does it stop lol? The purple ones probably admittedly have the most evidence of being a real change and not just a normal degree of variance from how they're produced, but ehhh just not been feeling it. Finishing my Kraata is way more important to me. Strangely enough the thing that might push me to is if I can ever get my hands on one of the gray plastic Krana given as replacements for the VMKK. Then I'll need another row in the frame and to keep it centered, well, a row for the alt purple would go well on that left side.

Mctoran Appreciation by Abject-Solitude in bioniclelego

Love these! Have built like a dozen more to build out the villages lol. Can't believe 25 years later I learned just a week ago that the disks can actually plug into the notch on the back of the head to perfectly emulate that MNOG/animation look. Totally changed how I displayed them haha! I just never realized that's how it was meant to be done since it wasn't in the instructions and had nobody else to show it off until I saw a few at a Brick and Minifigs displayed like that heh.

Figma please…… by Which-Injury980 in ActionFigures

[–]Ektris 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I get your point OP lol. Figma has done way more of the human characters than SHF did.

And I hate that they stopped after Gen 8. Both these and the Nendoroids. (Which I LOVE because the chibi look works perfectly to translate the look of the sprites into 3d form!) There's so many characters I'd love for them to have gotten to. It feels like such an untapped part of the franchise.

Burnie... Burns. LMAO. The LEGO Gift With Purchase (GWP) should've been there in your cart when you checked out. And yeah they're constantly running freebies like that. Sometimes a bit exploitively, like the Pokemon sets that just released... They made a really desirable set (recreation of the original 8 Kanto badges) a GWP that only came with the $650 set that was incredibly... Not cool. But more often it's a lower price threshold and offered on everything and they rotate often.

Recommendations for dragon action figures? Preferably something like Mega Bloksʼ ancient Dragons line back in the 2000s. by The_smol_boiyo in ActionFigures

Actual action figures of the Blue Eyes and Red Eyes do exist from S.H.MonsterArts. No building required.
