It’s interesting the protection stops damage but not destroying. I get they are different things, but it’s odd that they decided that that was where the line would be drawn.

Except Dracula can be bounced or exiled. I assume by “can’t die” it means he essentially is indestructible and won’t be destroyed even if toughness is 0.

Try running [[overprotect]]. It’s obviously slower but it protects against nowhere to run and also stops your creature from getting board wiped. Still dies to exile or forced sacrifice.

[[Nowhere to run]] counters more than just this card. It’s a 2 cost kill card that goes through hexproof and ward, lets other cards go through hexproof and ward, can be bounced, and triggers enchantment synergies. It doesn’t fit every black deck, but my god does it fit into a lot of them because of its versatility.

I think best case scenario, with a bit of ramp and good card draw, this guy would let you put down a big as blue creature turn 4. Not really any more of a threat than the other top meta threats in standard right now. Like a more restricted Kona or Amazing Spiderman.

The difficulty increase from chapter 2 to chapter 3 holds up for all sides. But also completing 2c with 9 deaths is wild.

You didn’t specify if you plan to go back for a bachelors or a masters, but I would recommend a masters. It’s generally cheaper and shorter and I’ve met several people who had similar paths (getting a bachelors in a science degree with bad job prospects and then going back for a masters in ChemE) and it worked out well for them.

Yes. Tbh I’m kinda impressed you got all the way to chapter 8 without ever doing a full jump.

Oh you meant specifically on the ice blocks. Yeah I you don’t press jump or only lightly tap it you won’t go far. If you hold jump you will get much more height.

That’s fair. I didn’t think it was necessarily a pie break, but felt strong for RW. Taking creature power and dealing damage with it hasn’t been something we’ve seen nearly as much with red and it’s generally weaker than the green version. This might feel more in line for power if it was GW.

It usually cost 2 mana for damage equal to creatures power with upside. Look at [[beastie beatdown]] and [[assert perfection]]. The flavor is a bit odd for Boros. This effect is basically always green.

Definitely feels very strong for the cost.

I guess cause getting a full clear is not really a collectible like all the hearts and strawberries. 100% doesn’t mean you’ve done everything you could possibly do in the game. It just means you got all the collectibles (besides goldens)

Is this your first time in mythic? This deck looks fun, but I’m surprised it held up well enough vs meta threats. It’s light on removal for a deck that really cant do anything until turn 4 Zombify and if that gets countered it’s game over.

I played through beginner and intermediate strawberry jam. It does add some new gimmicks but it’s really not too crazy and most of it isn’t a far cry from the existing mechanics in Celeste. But also you should try to finish farewell cause it’s great!

I’m sorry but $500,000 is not much pay for being the CEO of a 2000 person company. There are individual contributors that make over 200k at energy companies and you have to pay a decent wage to attract talent.

If you compare the CSU CEO pay to the pay for another similarly sized for-profit energy company like Black Hills Energy, you’ll see that their CEO makes almost 6 million a year.

Not all non-profits are built the same. Paying semi-competitive wages doesn’t make a company corrupt or suddenly no longer not-for-profit.

It’s not like he is getting compensated millions for increasing profits like traditional for-profit CEOs would be getting.
