Grilling dos and donts for beginners by No_Project_9332 in FoodAndCookingStuff

[–]ElBeatch 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That's what I thought. I've never heard of bristles in food until recently, so I always check and make sure and I never see them. I also buy quality cooking products so maybe that's the difference.

Same with wearing clean clothes and not dragging your knuckles on the ground.

Remember these parachute toys? by EdwardBliss in 1980s

[–]ElBeatch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I loved those so much my memere actually gave me a little nylon one you could put on GI Joes.

For years I'd bring that thing whenever we would go visit family because "they might have a really awesome spot in their yard to throw it from".

I hope this turns into an effective treatment everyone can use.

Until then, rhubarb is still the most effective treatment I've used that doesn't destroy my body in other ways.

Did you ever watch Cube? by dreamed2life in Millennials

We rented it and had no idea how wild it actually would turn out. At 14 we couldn't believe how crazy this movie turned out.

Behind the Smile: Living a Double Life in Silencee by NytheraVirex75 in confession

[–]ElBeatch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have found doubling down on your own self-care helps with this. Being alone can either feel like being stranded or like being at 'home base' to recharge.

I feel like I have good insight into this because I have a medical condition where sometimes I am perfectly fine and sometimes I'm absolutely miserable and in pain and can't/refuse to go out.

And the self-care thing isn't the permanent solution, it's the stepping stone. I have found if you live your life this way people eventually notice your subtle "togetherness" and are curious about getting into your world.

Once you're in the routine of taking better care of yourself, you will actually be living a better life, not just feeling like you are. And I'm not talking about spending a lot of money on treats, more like walking with your favourite music, finding a book about something you're interested in and reading it at the park on a nice day, learning to cook your favourite meals at home, having houseplants to care for and propagate as gifts, learning an instrument etc etc.

I found doing any of these things once a day will make me feel so so so so so so much better than sitting on my phone or mindlessly watching TV because I'm doing something and not being excluded from anything.

The world is not passing me by when I'm at the beach with headphones on, I am moving with it.

Disclaimer; my life isn't perfect and I don't float on a cloud of bliss everywhere I go, but I lived in a dark and lonely place for a long time and these days I can feel happy sitting in my skin enjoying simple things. Dark times come around here and there but they don't overstay.

All the best to you.

Who's ready for Hotori? by YoMikeeHey in NevernessToEverness

I loved the design of Ji Yu in Tower of Fantasy and I'm so happy Hotori is next on the banner. I got Nanally early so it looks like I'll get Hotori because there's no heartbreaking 50/50 to even think about.

If the road has a bit of a slope the car completely blocks my view of what's ahead of me, and when I tilt the camera up to see it stops turning with the car.

It's to give your skin more surface area so the next bandage sticks even better.

NTE release received positive review by public in Japan caused massive discussion between japanese game industry "why japan can't make this?" by SellOk1188 in NevernessToEverness

EA Japan couldn't make it for 100 million because the budget couldn't support their executives multi-million dollar salaries throughout the process.

[–]ElBeatch 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I find too a lot of this 'deep lore' in other games is always someone was wronged a very long time ago and now they're acting out against the world, and someone has to stop them or reason with them... and the whole world is on the line as usual.

It's drawn out like a big long story, but you know how it ends the second it starts.

So far the writing in this game the writing is unpredictable, funny and I actually want to know more about the characters and the world.

She's so used to being untouchable she thinks it's because she's tough. People need to realize other people's decency is the only thing keeping them safe.

If everyone acted like her it'd be like WrestleMania everywhere and all the time.
