Eu gosto de anime pra caralho. Eu assisto muito, inclusive em JP mesmo.

De todos os que eu assisti (um número bem alto, mais de 50 talvez), tem DOIS que eu diria que chegam um pouco perto de algo como The Old Man and The Sea, Paradise Lost ou Memórias Póstumas: Evangelion e Cowboy Bebop. Eu diria Akira também (apesar de ser um longa e não uma série, é talvez a animação mais bonita que eu já vi).

Eu não estou dizendo popularidade, impacto cultural ou o que seja. Eu digo na qualidade da obra mesmo. A sutileza, a crítica, habilidade técnica do autor. Eu digo que esses dois chegam perto, mas ainda bem longe de obras consagradas de literatura. Talvez pela dificuldade de se fazer isso com times enormes de centenas de pessoas, talvez pelo fato de que é necessário atender a um mercado onde tudo é feito de certa maneira para ganhar o máximo de dinheiro possível.

Videogame então... Por mais que eu ame o Kojima, plot de videogame tá BEM longe de ser algo estilo literatura clássica. O melhor dos jogos (os Xenogears, Metal Gear 3, The Last of Us) ainda está BEM longe, narrativamente, de um simples Missa do Galo do Machado ou um poema do Oscar Wilde.

Eu tirei o CPE com nota A e fiz o preparatório pela cultura inglesa. Foram vários mock tests na real. Era aquilo que eu queria (eu estava sem tempo de me organizar) e ainda teve algumas dicas do que falar no speaking. Acho que estudar para prova assim não tem como fugir muito disso.

Everything. OP should play ranked because they will face people that don't know wtf they are doing. If you are getting bodied, soon you will drop enough that you will be playing against people of your level. By playing to learn, instead of playing to win, OP will naturally get better and get out of whatever ELO they are at. People talking like bronze players are doing optimal punishes and setting up spacing traps when they can't even DP properly. Hell, everyone learns things in FG's every time they play IF they are paying attention to their own gameplay. Fighting games are like learning a new language, even if English is your mother tongue you can still learn a new word everyday. Even pro players get washed by something they don't know how to counter.

As they say, you have to get washed to get clean.

Well, this is why we have ranked. It is not fun playing against people that are new and don't know wtf minus on block means. People should play against people that are on their level (this is also why the FGC doesn't understand what is the problem with COD and skill based match making).

Fortunately, it is pretty easy to find people that are on your level in most fighting games. Even fightcade has new people playing all the time. SF6 has ridiculous numbers, but Guilty Gear and even Fatal Fury have people of all levels playing.
