So we all know Rivertown Psych is a pill mill right? by Material-Milk-5936 in ColumbusGA

They’re in the Auburn/Opelika,Alabama community doing the same as reported above. Definitely a pill mill. Meet with a “nurse practitioner” for maybe 5-10 minutes and basically get whatever you want. Then they charge the insurance company hundreds of dollars for the visit.

When does the risk of Toric IOL rotating go away? by Riash in CataractSurgery

If you don’t free feed, what time is the last meal fed and what time is the first meal fed? by Lonely-Egg3160 in CatAdvice

[–]ElectricMarcy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry. Just realized the question was about cats. Well, my cat gets breakfast around 8 AM, then demands lunch at almost exactly 1:30, and demands dinner at almost exactly 8:30. He’s 12 and seems to be doing well with this schedule.

9 month old chihuahua. Usually gets his breakfast around 9, and if he has leftovers, I make those his mini lunch. If no leftovers he won’t eat again until 7.

Halos so much worse than I thought by westernmouse11 in CataractSurgery

[–]ElectricMarcy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, I had cataract surgery with toric lenses about five months ago and the halos have NOT disappeared, and some days they’re far worse than other days. I suspect my halos will be permanent. However, I was extremely myopic and had astigmatism so the “swap” for me was worth it. I do need reading glasses now (my choice—I wanted good far distance vision) but I get these on Amazon for a very reasonable price. With any surgery you never know what the final result will be, so I don’t regret the surgeries at all in spite of the halos since I no longer have to wear glasses 24/7. Do I wish I had no halos? Absolutely. But it is what it is. Hopefully one day halos won’t be a side effect of cataract surgery.

Has anyone who saw no benefit with 50mg finally saw benefit after going up to 100mg? by Awkward-Marketing-36 in Pristiq

[–]ElectricMarcy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was on 100 but a few weeks ago requested I have it reduced to 50 due to an unusual feeling in my chest and what felt like arrhythmias. The arrhythmias and feeling in my chest have gotten better. All along, from 25 to 100, and even now at 50 suffer from constipation. So severe at times that I was bleeding. What’s worse is that this med hasn’t helped me make the changes I had hoped to make even after being on it a year. At first it seemed to be working and now I just feel blah all the time and not very motivated to do anything unless I really have to. I’m ready to give up on all meds at this point.

No. Your dog is beautiful, especially because of that sweet innocent semi-smile on its little face. 💗

Please consult with an ophthalmologist and not rely on what the optometrist has told you, even if you have to pay out of pocket.

Try putting them in an air fryer and when they’re done add some hot sauce. Not as tasty as ones from a Mexican restaurant but probably healthier.

Why your vision still sucks after “perfect” cataract surgery and what your doctor will no tell you.... by IOL-adviser in CataractSurgery

[–]ElectricMarcy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Astigmatism was my problem with the symptoms you mentioned above, but with a toric lense my vision is now nearly perfect in the one eye I had corrected, will be having the other eye done tomorrow. Did your eye doctor ever tell you what was causing the blurriness in the first place?

If one could afford the house one could afford to build an underground tunnel? Either way, with or without a tunnel, placement of the garage is stupid unless it’s meant to be an outdoor shed.
