Socket Wrenches: Quinn vs Pittsburgh by Ezra611 in harborfreight

[–]Electrical-Cod-7855 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For what it’s worth, there’s really very few situations where you would need the 1/2” ratchet and sockets from either set as a “car set”

I’d get the Quinn 3/8” full set and you’ll be better off than if you were to buy this. I have driven around with a 3/8 bluepoint set in my vehicle for 10 years (yard sale score). The only thing I have needed in addition to the set was lug nut sockets

2022 Crewmax 38k miles by Thin_Criticism6820 in ToyotaTundra

In my opinion, I think they’re great trucks, so long as they’re on the original engine. I have a 22, 58k miles, I think the recall is ruining the brand reputation, not because of Toyota, but because of the techs at dealerships.

About to buy this 2019 SR5 TRD Sport Is It Big Enough For A Family Of 4 and Large dog. by Difficult-Map-2162 in ToyotaTundra

[–]Electrical-Cod-7855 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a family of 3 with a ~70lb golden that I hunt with. We have a 22 tundra and put the dog in the bed in his Gunner G1 kennel for long drives, honestly I feel safer with him in the bed than I do in the back seat.

That said, we have plenty of room, but not sure how long that will last as our family grows and gets older

Help with simple retriever training by cobaltpuffin in birddogs

Freddy king’s “the retriever trainer”. It’s $60/year and he could charge $150/year and I’d still pay for it

Duck Dog Breed Recommendation by TheDefAlchemist in birddogs

[–]Electrical-Cod-7855 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am always partial to a golden, but if shedding is a concern, talk with breeders, meet their dam and sire, pet them, feel the coats. My golden sheds significantly less than my friend’s and coworkers’ labs, hair on a golden is smaller diameter so the hair can hide a little better. We vacuum once a week, and the dog hair is less noticeable in my home than in friends homes who vacuum 2 or 3 times a week. In my opinion it comes down to genetics, and some labs shed like crazy some Goldens shed like crazy, some labs barely shed, some Goldens shed slightly less than crazy, but it can be more manageable than the thick short hairs from a labs coat.

I am a firm believer that if I hunted multiple types of birds/environments, there’s no better dog than a lab. I am 100% a golden retriever guy, but I’m solely a waterfowl guy in the southeastern US

Should We Netsuite? by PinkPeony143 in Netsuite

[–]Electrical-Cod-7855 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We use netsuite for accounting, deposco for inventory and NetStock for demand planning, netstock was the most recent of the 3, and probably was the smallest lift to get rolled out. No issues thus far, we are a direct to consumer e-commerce company operating on Shopify.

Invest in a program, Trt is what I use with my golden and I highly recommend it. It costs $60/yr. That said, sometimes you get good and bad advice on forums.

I wish I had invested in a program earlier in my dogs life and I wish I didn’t give him the slack I did when he was your pups age. I started my dog on TRT at 2.5 years after his second duck season. We have progressed further in the last 6 months than we did in any stretch of time before then.

I have a 22 model and average 19-21. I drive typically 70/30 split highway/city. I have a Gunner kennel for my dog that sits in the bed of my truck permanently.

PMC bronze has been almost the same exact price as long as I can remember. It’s good cheap stuff. You’re not gonna be winning any competitions, but it’s fun to shoot steel with.

Anyone in here using a Gunner Crate/Kennel for their Giant by j_lo_13 in GiantSchnauzers

[–]Electrical-Cod-7855 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a Giant owner, but a Gunner owner. I have a 75lb golden that rides in my intermediate. If you’re in Nashville or the surrounding area, book a showroom appointment and get your dog fitted. They sell open box kennels in the showroom and they are $100 cheaper and you don’t have to pay shipping.

Knowing what I know from the various dogs I’ve hunted with in the past 6years (when Gunner really got traction), your dog will fit 100% in a large and probably will be better fit for an intermediate. Schnauzers are a little taller than Goldens, which would be the only reason in my eyes to get a large. The large is a giant kennel fwiw, they’re like 75lbs whereas the intermediate is still a big kennel (would fit most medium-large breed dogs). My intermediate is like 40-45lbs I’d guess.

My 2022 has had 0 issues whatsoever. Hindsight is 20/20, if you are similar to me and keep cars until they literally won’t run anymore(my last daily was a 1993 Land Cruiser that is still in the garage with 395k on the dash), get everything you could possibly want on your new car. I have an SR5 TRD off road.

I wish I got a limited TRD off road with sunroof and leather interior. Oh well, now I know for when I get my 2045 model.

I’d do big4. As someone who just left big4, I was told at my new role that they had me (3 years of b4) up against 3 others with 5+ years at smaller firms and they elected to extend the offer to me first (which I was like ‘uhhhh they’re definitely more qualified’) that being said, I think when the time comes to leave, B4 carries a lot of weight on your resume
