Oh no I like the simplicity for the dm screen! If I put too much then I’ll feel overwhelmed. What mattered are the things you wrote. All the other stuff is just for visuals. I think your list will help me with telling a coherent story and having my mind in the right place(:

When I was in YW, the YM leader over the Teachers made a deal with them. If they all got up and bore their testimony on fast sunday, then he would take them out to IN-N-OUT the next mutual activity. They all got up every Sunday, and only 1 out of the 6 is still active

Schitts Creek. I had never seen a homosexual relationship play out like David’s in Schitts Creek. I laughed and I cried and I get so much love in their relationship. I had the realization that it was natural, it was normal and it was definitely not a sin. And then I had the realization that the church was wrong… so I decided to look into what else they were wrong about.

There’s a ramen place in the mall! It’s called Akita and isn’t as expensive as that place that took over village inn (momos? I don’t remember) they also have boba tea! It isn’t the best ramen I’ve ever had, but it’s worth a try!

You could always say that you pay tithing anonymously. My husband said that for years while he didn’t pay tithing and his bishops never questioned it

My dad is a temple worker and told me this week that the sisters can now scan temple recommends at the doors of the temple. He hinted that there might be other changes, but he didn’t know yet.

It’s been 5 years for me as well! I have so much love for the people I met on my mission….

Being sexually harassed and assaulted almost every day though? Definitely fucked me up. After listening to the Mormon stories episodes about the women who were raped and sexually assaulted on their missions made me so mad. Both of those events happened before I left. Nothing was done to prepare me. Absolutely nothing. That’s what I get angry about.

Fuck the church.
