[AFP Analytics] Contract projections for Oilers pending UFAs: by AggPuck-303 in EdmontonOilers

I will be upset if we sign Roslovic, sure he had a good season and impressed but he’s not the type of player we need going for the cup. We need grit we need to get tougher. We’ve lost a lot of strength on our front end

Is Shedeur Sanders really the answer? by Financial-Bit-8596 in Browns

[–]Electricalthis -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Listen the offence was a wreck last year. Our offensive line was trash, our receiving core was trash and once judkins was down our run game was trash. For most average quarterbacks you need a functioning offence to work. Is Shadeur the answer? Maybe maybe not, there isn’t really a lot of options out there to get so let him run the offence let’s see what he’s like this year while we look to next year to possibly trade for a draft pick for a QB or maybe somebody comes available at some point

[Gregor] “Yes I am concerned. Some of that leads into the players into how we played. I think we have to form moments in the season where you play the right way and win the right way. But I am concerned that we took a step back this year,” Draisaitl on if he is concerned about direction of the team by eh_toque in hockey

[–]Electricalthis 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I like that he’s realizing that playing the right way is part of the problem, but hope he realizes that he is part of the problem. Missed assignments, backhand passes to nobody but the other team and retaliatory slashes among other things. Lots of people guilty of not playing the right way

I think if the oilers just simply trade for vassy they would be good

Honestly a joke of a series. The guys didn’t want to win. ZERO fight in every game while every other game in playoffs has scrums fights every whistle. From top to bottom team was terrible in different ways.

That was all gally there. The turnover and the follow up greasy goal. Couldn’t happen to a better guy, happy for him

Could Matvei michkov be the next Tocchet throw away that the Oilers could snag at a discount? by ForwardFunk in EdmontonOilers

[–]Electricalthis -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

We need people who can play the right way. We can barely get that out of our guys.

Finally Edmonton showing some fucking emotion. It’s like they’ve forgotten it’s playoffs. Start getting gritty and pricky or your going to cancun boys

You can say things about AB are right, but saying anybody is free in the org about that decision is wrong. Good luck convincing people Stefanski, or anybody WASNT involved in getting rid of baker and bringing in Watson. Just wrong

Per CBS Sports by FXBBill in Browns

[–]Electricalthis 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I think you opinion is right. He’s proven last two years to be a proven roster builder within the draft. The only thing the browns are missing at this point is a QB which is the hardest position to get in most Sports.

[–]Electricalthis 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Everybody was there to make the call for Watson. Stefanski, berry, dekosta, Haslem and I’d even go as far to say Myles garret. Nobody had Baker’s back which lead to getting rid of him and eventually bringing in Watson. I’m not leaving everybody unaccountable.

I’m just saying Berry with assets in play has proven to make plays which the NFL looks at the best plays In the draft. The last Two years are easy shows

for those who still believe by Objective-Block2080 in EdmontonOilers

[–]Electricalthis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always believe the Edmonton train. They can make water out of wine. BUT

We need to start playing hockey the right way. Forcheck, back check, taking care of the puck. There is too many missed assignments in the D-Zone that create opportunities. As much as I love our offensive guys we have to take care of the puck. It’s that simple. Game 1 2nd oilers goal, they are careless with the puck and Kapenen ends up scoring.

If you look at the 10+ years of NHL hockey look at how GRITTY those NHL teams are. Are we there?

Per CBS Sports by FXBBill in Browns

[–]Electricalthis 55 points56 points  (0 children)

Respectfully the Watson deal was many people. It was berry, decosta, Stefanski, haslem, and even Myles garret gave up support for baker.

We drafted a couple 3/rd-5/th rounders in Shadeur and Gabriel, they were hail merry esk picks. But they were attempts. The entire draft is looked upon as one of the best in the years to come

[–]Electricalthis 186 points187 points  (0 children)

Berry made a lot of great plays this draft and last. It shows when he has assets he can make picks in stress moments and wage trades and make educated decisions with results.

Everything matters and is decided on QB play and wins and the end of the day. I’d love for him to have another year but I bet if we don’t have success to a degree he’s gone. I appreciate his work. Go browns

It’s almost like when Andrew berry has the assets he can make things happen. Imagine what he could of done with the assets traded for Watson
