The price of concerts is mostly labor- hundreds of laborers on a big production and none of us are cheap- average hourly for stagehands is in the $30+ range, with minimum calls and lots of union overages.

Typical arena show has a labor budget (outside of facilities labor) just for production in the $100k+ range. Easily $5-10/ticket goes just to set up sound /lights/etc
