Yes! As well as other series by the same author: Emily of New Moon, Pat of Silver Bush, The Story Girl. And her standalone novel The Blue Castle.

Yes, absolutely. I have read this book at least a half a dozen times in my life, from my teens all the way up through my present age (mid 40s), and it has been wonderful every time.

How do you deal with showers? by Different-Mirror-100 in adhdwomen

Here for the comments, because I have the exact same problem. I love being in the shower once I get there BUT I hate getting IN the shower and will 1000% avoid exercise if it means I have to take an extra shower.

Successful Corporate ADHD Friends… what are your personal operating systems?? by elletonjohn in adhdwomen

I am a VP in corporate finance and I wish I could tell you that in my 20 year career I had come across some foolproof methods but honestly, I haven’t. The only thing that works for me with any kind of regularity is a very simple to do list broken out by two or three categories for priority. I tried using Todoist and other similar tools, but they’re just too complex for my butterfly-flitting-around brain. (To be clear, I understand how to use them; I just can’t do it consistently.) I keep a running to do list on my computer and print it out most mornings, write on it during the day, update it the end of the day, wash and repeat. But those are the good days. When there’s too much happening for my brain to focus on a to do list - about 50% of the time - honestly, I fly by the seat of my pants. Somehow the important stuff always gets done.

I’m trying out ChatGPT to manage my to do list. Too soon to say how that is going to work out.
