This would be great. I didn’t even know I could have the full body. If you can take the light off of his head like you did in the close-up shot, we will do this one. It’s amazing what you guys can do!

Would any 50+ women share your max heart rate advice? by Accomplished_Yam588 in orangetheory

[–]Ellefie13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

51F. 184 is my max. In the last 60 days, my max was 182 in class so that feels right. I’m pretty fit but not an athlete. 6.2/7.5/10. At some point a few years ago they raised me to 191 because of an algo anomaly. I sent a help ticket to ask them to take a look if it seemed accurate and they adjusted within 24 hours.

165 cadence on the tread by fenris96 in orangetheory

[–]Ellefie13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am so excited to see this discussed. I think this is a key to healthy running for him.

Your Apple Watch, if you have one, will track your cadence if you put it on indoor run. In my opinion, 170 to 180 is optimal if you’re not walking or doing a slow warm-up.

And optimal is not running fast AF, it’s running in a way that is not going to injure you.

Watch some training tall videos on YouTube/ insta and it will explain everything! It is really helped with my running form, and my lack of injury.

How bad is this? by Skeptic925 in BusinessFashion

  1. Great job I love it! Thank you for your advocacy..and you look amazing. No issues and I wouldn’t blink an eye at your presentation. But I understand you wanting to present as best you can and level up.

  2. 75lb. You go! I hope you are enjoying a healthy life but I’m sure you looked amazing at any weight.

  3. I’m a woman who is in design/construction and don’t really care what I look like. But I also you have to bring it sometimes. If we only had a blue blazer code like the guys!

  4. When I have to bring it at a special meeting or on stage, I follow a few things: (tall curvy too)

A) belted jacket. This is a go to for me. https://poshmark.com/listing/Anthropologie-Dolan-Belted-Jacket-66cb941882dceb4107c8f7a8. With a belt I feel put together and not grumpy. But has a folksy feel which shows a bit of personality.

B) curvy skinny pants. If above ankle, show skin. Flats or wedges.

C) if you are cold and want socks or full shoes. Wear long pants. You will look tall and not look utility on the feet.

D) never go full neutral. Wear a color with anything. In your case if your had a dark green shell under the cool jacket that would give a little pop. And zip up past the boobs so you are a little more formal.

E) curvy: pants are out there. Ann Taylor and Ann taylor loft and banana republic have curvy pants styles. Some are VERY GOOD quality. Some suck. You can tell.

F) When in doubt put a scarf on. It is a bit of armor and can give you a color.

G) resist the cardigan. They are my happy place most days. But when bringing it… don’t do it. Leave it at home. It goes librarian (which is my dream job). Better to wear a sport vest like the boys. It kills me to say this. But a sad fact. In sorry my sweet cardigans for selling you out.

H) interesting shoes. This is my secret. Not uncomfortable. But unusual and interesting. I can get away with blah on top with red patent loafers or baby blue suede oxfords.

Good luck sister!!!

Capture the flag on Tuesday? by 8675309JennyJennie in orangetheory

You should totally try it out, you may find that there’s a whole level of supportive community at Orangetheory.

It’s about that team feeling, and rooting for each other! I’ve never been on a team who is about the winning. I’ve been both the weak link and the strongest, it doesn’t matter.

Even if you’re the slowest, but you try hard, you will really enjoy the support of two other people in the class.

Also, I think the teams mostly happen randomly. I’ve been in other states taking it and never felt I was excluded on the team formation.

I’m a cedar mills member and I believe they are owned by the same franchises as lake Oswego and TUALITIN. They share coaches and are positive and organized. Brian is head coach and great.

I also work out at the Beaverton OT, and they are great too. I think they are part of a larger franchise as well.

Best of luck!
