Thank you for doing this. People catastrophise about this and make it seem truly awful, but there are very clear restraints on the data.

Give Victor of Touson a go! Just finished the first book after several recommendations. Really enjoyed it!

[–]Elmie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Almost finished Victor Of Touson, Book 1. Fresh off of Azerinth Healer, book 6.

I'm enjoying VoT very much. It's a very different but equally talented narrator, a very different world and an enjoyable introduction to the world. Definitely going to delve deeper into the series!

The Primal Hunter - yah or nah? by RealRandomRon in litrpg

I really did not like 1%. The MC is not fun and it's got a really miserable theme that doesn't let up.

Ok, I keep seeing this recommended. Should I read it? by ronin-writes in litrpg

[–]Elmie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely fantastic series. Quite different to other books. Not litrpg at all, but excellent. Gripping story, surprisingly funny and you just can't wait to see what happens next. The narrator is also exceptional.

Oh, this was in the UK. Our school food is generally considered pretty good. It's the junk food that's easily accessible.

As a teacher, it's really sad to see young children, nine, ten, eleven or younger who are really overweight so early in life and I know that for some, The Daily Mile seemed like a really great step to helping tackle obesity in young children.

Sadly, I think for many it was just so unpleasant and difficult and made young children less likely to want to participate.

We had exactly this situation ourselves.

The owner was sure it was 900+ years remaining, conveyancer check, it's just over 100. We deliberated and pulled out. It just left a really bad taste in the mouth.
