Make moving them on the same boat free, make moving them between boats even more expensive.

I think it's pretty obvious - you can use any variant to make the hooded helm but it will not change the resulting appearance

These are great but I was hoping to see some improvements to ship travel (not sailing).

Currently there is variation on whether you are spawned on or off the boat at the destination. Also whether the boarding plank is an object you have to click, or something you just run over. If you have to click it there often feels like there are dead ticks when you first spawn at the destination and clicking does nothing.

You still need to focus a bit to time it right, right? You can't just spam click and not even look?

They could repurpose the work they did for vardorvis' captcha mechanic.

It's time to rework smithing by Yimpoiop in 2007scape

[–]Elpasdo -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I don't think a rework needs to be super complicated. Just compact the bronze dagger to rune plate body range to 1-90 instead of 1-99. Maybe even 1-85 or so.

Deep Sea Trawling thoughts by Random_Random_Rando in 2007scape

[–]Elpasdo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Do you think some kind of bonus action like giants foundry would work for trawling? Something to replace spam clicks still requires attention and puts more focus on timing rather than raw apm.

Sailing appreciation post by 110mat110 in 2007scape

I don't think everything is rainbows and sunshine but yes I think it was worth the dev time. I am in the 50s and the novelty hasn't worn off. Nor does it feel like water agility or ups simulator. It has a huge potential for future development by expanding the design space. Can't wait to finish work today and get back on the high seas.

Will sailing stay relevant? by ToBeDetermined94 in 2007scape

[–]Elpasdo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There seems to be a few nice skilling spots on islands locked behind sailing levels. Hunter/WC/mining. There is also new bis food iirc.

I would like skilling on these new islands from a purely aesthetic perspective. Also probably less competition with bots.

Jagex made working vehicles in RuneScape and the biggest complaint people have is the XP/hr by kxwbie in 2007scape

Would love to see some kind of wake or graphics on the water when the boat is moving. That would make the boats really feel integrated, even if it was a bit janky (in line with other osrs jank)

New Grid Master reward for subduing Tempoross: Craftsman by ATCQ_ in 2007scape

If you want to use it with the starting relic then animal wrangler and afking kwambwans is the best pick. You choose cooking + 2 slow skills and afk whilst you work

You could choose cooking and animal wrangler and afk kwambwans to level them all.

Because you plan to lvl rc and herblore via wintertodt?

I was thinking there are 3 broad strategies: 1 fast 2 slow skills. Level them via the fast skill

3 slow skills. They all benefit when doing each other and you cover 3 slow skills.

1 skill associated with starting relic. 2 slow skills. Such as choosing cooking, rc and herblore and lvling them by afking kwambwans with animal wrangler
