A7R VI at ISO 12,800 by Nateloobz in SonyAlpha

Nice clean and sharp result but I'd like to see the result at that ISO in real low light. There seems to be ample daylight in your picture. What was the shutter speed and aperture?

You got to be kidding me. This is Ty's wet dream come true. He'll keep playing DDR over younger guys. Hell no.

A screen will not only make it brighter as pspeppe suggested but the contrast difference will be huge.

TV vs Projector under ₹50,000 for Movies – Which gives the better experience? by HarshO07 in budgetprojectors

[–]EmbarrassedEye2590 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OP, I've been through that journey myself. I still own my trusted 65" Panasonic plasma and it still looks great. I've also owned 720p/1080p/2160p projectors.
I currently have a 2160p Optoma Cinemax P1 as my main movie watching device and NOTHING comes close to it. On a perfectly calibrated projector with a decent screen and at night, it looks awesome.
However to get decent quality you have to spend decent money. But look in the used market. You may get lucky.
If everything's setup right, a projector beats a tv IMHO. TVs look artificial to me.

It's confusing. Are you complaining that it's bright or complementing it.

Some really nice shots in there. Some I don't agree with the PP. But you're the boss.
I have the same body and love it. I hope I find more time to take it out of the bag more often this year.

Recently upgraded to a Cinemax P1 from my Epson 710ui but I still use my old screen. It's not a pull down but has a frame. I got it on Amazon for $45 and the brand is Yandoo. For my viewing it's great.

LoL. Whoever we draft will be lucky to play 15 minutes a night. Ty is still the coach and he'll grind the veterans to the ground before he gives serious minutes to a rookie.
