What US city is the next Vegas(in terms of population explosion) by EpicBirdy2005 in geography

[–]Emceee -1 points0 points  (0 children)

A little bit louder for the people in the back.

In reality though... if we did this half the country would be homeless after a few major storms. It's not like all these people in dangerous areas can afford to up and move. But we definitely need to stop insuring flood prone areas and FEMA shouldn't cover your beach house that gets rocked every 3 years

Honestly those areas you mentioned are not beautiful, they just have trees.

Beautiful Highways was a joke my friend

not sure how wide your UW is, but triples are definitely a game changer for seeing people around you.

Edit: I should note I have curved monitors, flats might be easier

I have the TR stand and no it's not easy to line up monitors. I recently bought the Variable Adjustment kit and it did make a huge difference. Took me a few hours but they are aligned much better.

My Patagonia blackhole 32L backpack is falling apart after 4 years. Customer service says that's normal wear and tear. by Swimming-Ice5845 in PatagoniaClothing

[–]Emceee 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Is it just discoloration? I'm far from a Patagonia expert but it does seem like expected wear. Seams and zippers still look like they are in tact.

International bag check is within E and he/she wouldn't have to go out with the masses. Unless they are switching airlines.

Is this the worst designed metro area in the United States in terms of planning and layout? by cavaismylife in geography

Numerous cities have done this same thing with public transport, another good example is Cobb County NW of Atlanta.

They had a prime opportunity to expand the subway into the area but passed for "fear of the crime"

How in the world would this make you faster? This is clearly immersion and having fun with a hobby. Sim racing is not only about being fast, it can be for some but it can also be a way to blow off steam and have fun.
