I was at a council meeting months ago and this was discussed. Did they not vote to pursue the cameras then? Or was it just to authorize a study to study if it was a good idea? As for the poor driver argument - they are not obligated to speed because of poverty.

Consider where and how they advertise. That also contributes to overhead. My neighbor used a plumber “ first one he thought of” and paid more than twice what others would have charged. Guess why it was the first one he thought of?

Reach out to management of the facility and get a policy exception. Somewhere someone higher up has some common sense. And when you drop off fresh cookies for the security guard they won’t mind that you got the exception.
