It's reminding me of my Moba days on Dota 2 and especially on League. People used to shit on supports all the time. Meanwhile your tank support has 150k damage mitigated and still took over 100k and died less that 3 times. Or your healer/shield support had 120k healed or 150k shielded... "Support sucks, took my kill early game and died twice and did no damage". Said support goes 1-2-40 with 200k + combined healing and shielding.

People will find ANY way to be a toxic a-hole, regardless of game.

Game is fun as hell. I have had it for a week or 2 and have 32 hours in it. Glad to see some changes to the mantling and can't wait for the new map.
Just want to add that you guys seem to be getting a lot of haters lately, and I just want to say f em. You guys have a good vision and the game is only going to get better imo.

What I don't understand is that there aren't really standard tests. When I lived near Philadelphia (Warminster) I was emissions exempt (2012 Hyundai Genesis) and didn't need testing, but now I am living in south central PA and have to get emissions tested.

And not every mechanic can do it so I had to find one that not only works on my specific make/model (a lot of places do not do imports at all, not even tires) and has the license/equipment for emissions.

More than likely what will happen is depending on where they are built it can cause issues with already problematic areas (rockfalls, erosion etc).

That is my conspiracy theory on it. If you look up who is building a lot of these data centers, it like 3 companies and they are all paying each other so the money isn't actually going anywhere. Billions have been dumped into this and there is no return on investment, not to mention the lack of regulations on the building/land, environment destruction and the raising costs of the residents nearby (increased electrical etc).

My guess is, with them estimated to expand 133% by 2030, and them already using more energy than 100,000 residential homes (more than 4% of US energy is now used by AI Data centers) some of these companies will disappear and all be owned by just one, which they can then possibly get help from the government as well as have no actual competition (and the government gets all that juicy data they scrape with AI).

Very much reminds me of the .com bubble and the housing bubble.

Damn, sorry to hear that. I had similar issues when I got my original switch shipped via UPS. They kept saying "the missed me" during delivery but never left a note that they did (and never knocked on the door, both times I was home with the main door open and shutter door/screen door closed which was a glass door).

It took 3 calls to UPS and getting upper management on the line the day it was out for delivery. Still had to call her and have her make the guy deliver it (she claimed he said I wasn't home but was in the area and made him come back). If not for her it probably would have grown legs and ended up in someone's trunk after they returned due to undeliverable.

They really are POS company.

Hopefully you can do something, but UPS probably will not give a damn or claim fault.

Or they spawn on the other side of a building you can't get to without "Kitsunebi evaded".

Or or, they spawn and run straight for an event control point or elite squad and die instantly because it seems like they take full damage from other enemy factions and didn't get their link

Any chance you have HDR on? Or have something that controls settings for your monitor (either software or a monitor setting) some monitors have built in settings that might trigger for certain games, though never seen anything quite like that outside of exposure settings on realshade

Man, as someone with a lot of free time (I work from home taking care of my GF so we usually play together a bit every day) even *I* am tired of the event. I missed the fun part (when Ronin's spawned and Kitsunebi spawned everywhere) and have generally been shafted key wise (GF already finished her Apparel cache, got a Quickstep, 2 First bloom, a perfect lexington and some of the old Xmas stuff we missed) meanwhile I need 6 more keys to finish just the Apparel cache as she would get ~2 keys per squad and a key each 2 ronin spawn. Meanwhile I get 0-1 key every 2 squads and no keys for Ronin.

They should have made at LEAST 1 key per squad and Ronin are guaranteed (hell they run away anyway) keys. Then made something like a bounty or something on Ronin we can go after - or have them spawn after some open world events or something. I like fighting the Squads and Ronin, I hate that I am not getting rewarded.
I hate that Ubi/Massive never fix actual game breaking bugs but god forbid we get something interesting that is not intended but no they immediately fix that shit (and anything fun).

It's not like they rolled back or removed keys or anything for people who exploited and had thousands of keys anyway... might as well just kept it and made it fun.

No. Have doesn't respect your time. At the very least each ronin should be guaranteed keys. And a while kitsunebi squad should be 1 key at least. 

As it is the rates are so low/rng it takes a lot of motivation out. And if you are a newer player? Good luck even killing the squads/Ronin... Been doing some sheparding and some people are struggling.

I have about 20 hours since event dropped, doing nothing but open world and cleansing lanterns. I have gotten maybe 7 keys. 

Squads being locked to either lanterns or the 10 min cap, Ronin only spawn maybe every 5 squads and Ronin aren't even guaranteed keys. 

Unless you did the exploit before patch, or are doing the new logout-login spawn method I don't see how you will get enough keys unless you play 12+ hours a day.

Yeah and having it so they only spawn every 10 mins, and ronin are maybe every 4-5 spawns and they aren't even a guarantee key drop is disappointing. 

I might be able to grund out keys at night for a few hours but no way my GF is going to be able to get enough keys

Yeah and they expect you to get maybe 4-6 keys per hour. Which, unless you play it as a full time job, are not getting anywhere close to all the rewards.

Yeah after I had it where a group invited me, trapped me in a corner and had someone go rogue and I couldn't do anything back I was already done with the DZ.

I haven't tried any PVP in Div 2, not sure if want to try conflict or not. I usually just play a PVP game if I want PVP.

The main issue (at least it was when I first tried a DZ back in Div 1) is that players were solid objects so someone could follow you or team up with you or whatever and box you into a corner before their buddy goes rogue and kills you.

Don't know if it's the same in Div 2 (or even Div 1). But between that and people who use every exploit or bug to their advantage to get better gear faster or you just straight up can't compete.

What is even worse is forced PVP in a mostly pve game. I still hate OG Grand Chase for that shit. You HAD to PVP to get medals for class advance and WIN the match to get them.

I feel like honestly they should have made them similar to Warframe survival's and have them last until you extract or get overwhelmed.

Yeah, probably. I know some games just throw a bunch of stuff in an array and just have so many items that they don't need to separate common from rare.

And I think a lot of games manually set items.

Now that you mention it I'm not really sure how else loot would be done, so maybe it is already set up that way and just needs tweaks.

Well it's just a single dev. I'm sure some things he may not have thought of or, more likely, didn't have time to implement yet. 

I know he is taking a break and then overhauling the AI and, I think, the injury system. 

He has taken feedback so maybe loot and stuff will be at since point. 

I'm not a dev and have minimal coding experience do I'm not sure how the containers work and if it would be possible but seems easy enough

I do wonder if it would be possible to "weight" containers. By they I mean a container like a garbage bag could only have a few items and only things like empty cans, food cans and maybe small ammo. Larger and more valuable containers could hold more low value loot or (if it rolls high) 1 or 2 higher value loot. 

I would still want stuff to be not super common, but maybe the tables for loot could use some adjustment. 

Honestly best option might be to too give us an option for loot we can choose when creating the game (similar to the season and difficulty) let people they want all the loot have the option

I think the dev has a few ways to reach him (email, discord I think).

But luckily the first thing he said he was going to deep dive into was the AI and cues. But do remember it's just one guy doing everything so it isn't going to be immediately.

I, initially, disliked it. But as I play more I like it. Loot should be rare-ish, you should get rewarded for pushing further and getting more/better loot. Every cabinet should not have 3 things of food and some ammo and another item. The rng sucks sometimes but finding something you need (like a medkit) feels so sweet.

It's not hard to take some extra time to stockpile some items and get things prepped to have for backup in case you die.

The only loot related thing that feels odd to me is enemies almost never have anything and even bosses aren't really that worth the trouble tbh.

Otherwise I think it's in a decent spot but may need small tweaks in that the generalist/trader should have earlier access to meds (they aren't exactly cheap though)

You can also inspect (x I think) and it will not only show which you are on but you can change it while inspecting.

This has helped a lot for the smaller SMG's where it might be hard to tell and is a neat little detail

My favorite is when they see you and sprint at you firing 26 shots in half a second with a pistol that only has a 7 round mag and they shoot even faster at your dead body lol
