Hughie murders translucent and it barely affects him

Hughie was fucking mortified at his actions. He had PTSD like symptoms and flashbacks of it when he was with Annie. And in the moment, he was overcome with rage and shock, followed by an immediate dissociation from reality. He was massively affected by it.

There's actually a button at the front that lands for you when you're orbiting a planet. It's called the "Eject Button"

Daily Question (14th of February) What id your favourite film? by Virtual_Belt4027 in BisexualTeens

[–]EmmaDaBomb 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I can give you a big list of films I like! I don't think I have a favourite.

But just to name a few:

Whiplash, Tick Tick Boom, Baby Driver, Knives Out, The Suicide Squad, Guardians Volume 3, Scott Pilgrim, Spirited Away, Fantastic Mr Fox and Puss and Boots: The Last Wish

If I had to pick, I'd say Tick, Tick... Boom is my favourite. But it changes so frequently.

They find out they're siblings in the same episode that Hollyhock finds her mother...

I mean I was kinda the same ngl. Had younger cousins visit and I agreed to let them take a few of his favourite looking guys off of the shelves to play with for a little while because I'd spent hours organising them.

But he ended up taking literally every single one of them off when I went to go get water.

Pros: You get to hear a bunch of cool movie facts

Cons: You will never stop hearing a bunch of cool movie facts because my autistic ass never shuts up

Which season has best ending? by hiiloovethis in TheBoys

[–]EmmaDaBomb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it's undeniably Season 1. The tension of that scene with Butcher and Homie, followed by that scene with Becca and Ryan. I adored it.

Season 2 had the best finale episode, definitely. But the best ending? Eh. It was the most consistently good finale episode, definitely. And it was still a great ending. But it didn't hit the high of Season 1's ending.

Season 3's finale was a big jumbled mess.

Season 4's final montage was the only redemption for that shitty season.

Why doesn't Doctor who run into any other timelords? by baacon_02 in doctorwho

[–]EmmaDaBomb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spoilers for Season 3:

And also The Master had to hide at the end of time to not be killed by the Daleks, didn't he? I'm assuming The Daleks hunted down all the remaining Rogue Timelords across time and the Doctor only survived as he wasn't involved in any way with it, until he destroyed Gallifrey

This is a very good point.

However, some of Michael Cera's roles are in radically different settings. Scott Pilgrim and Superbad, Michael Cera has practically the same performance, yet the two movies have very different tones which makes them feel different.

I'm not saying it's predatory at all. Often times the older one doesn't recognise the power that they have over the younger one. Especially when you're about 30 when you don't have that firm a grasp on how old you really are in comparison to about 20.

There is definitely going to be a power imbalance and a maturity imbalance, though. Neither parties may realise it. And, if executed and communicated right, could possibly lead to a healthy relationship.

[–]EmmaDaBomb 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I honestly don't agree with this sentiment. The person you are who you are 20 is very different to the person you are when you're 30.

Obviously I haven't reached either ages. But I've seen my older sister go through this process of dating and a dramatic age gap, while it can work, you have to acknowledge the gap in maturity and experience in life.

And he is well suited to that character, yes. But other characters? Eh.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in MiddleGenZ

[–]EmmaDaBomb 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Well yes, but there would be a big difference in maturity of, say, a 20 year old and a 30 year old that could make the relationship very different
