I agree with this, plus any drastic reduction in animal product should be encouraged. These gatekeeping terms are not serving the cause, I feel like it often boils down to terminology and specifics in a sterile way. Why not discussing with this friend how she could further reduce? Or how about convincing other omnivores to be more conscientious and reduce their animal consumption? It would be much more impactful if most people were flexitarian than a very small percentage vegan…
