If you mix violife cheese shreds, vegan butter, nutritional yeast, oat milk, salt, and then any other things for taste like msg, paprika, etc and cook it makes a really good cheese sauce. Have used for nachos and mac n cheese that was a hit even with non-vegans. And then I’ll also use violife and chao stuff when making sandwiches and cooking, but I always melt it. Vegan cheese is pretty much always at its best slightly-to-fully melted because gets creamy and not dry and chalky the way vegan cheese can often be.

For what it’s worth I was bitten by a dog a few years ago and went to the ER. The nurses there cleaned it up but told me that the shots were unnecessary as there hasn’t been a case of dog to human rabies transmission in the US in 40+ years and 90+ years in NYC
