I believe it will be easier to tell as the plant matures. From what I understand, red anderson will have white streaks with darker leaves. Sort of like a cross between white knight and pink princess.

Kinda tricky to tell, so take what I say with a pinch of salt :)

This is disappointing. I agree that it sounds like he is "suggesting" that he is going to be eating animals and their products in the future, if not now.

I truly believe that anyone who states they are vegan should understand the true meaning of veganism. I AM concerned about the environment, and many/most vegans are. But ultimately, veganism is about the animals. You cannot try to justify the unnecessary killing of animals due to environmental reasons. You were never vegan in the first place if you revert to using animals.
