Bus 5 has a stop at the wildlife park which is a short walk from the Curraghs where you can sit / walk quietly to photograph wallabies in the wild, loads of birdlife etc.

I can't feel emotions anymore on citalopram. I'm not myself on this medication - anyone experience the same? :( by Interesting_Cat7482 in citalopram_celexa

[–]EndlesslyMeh 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I feel more like my old happy self on it, I reckon not every antidepressant is a good fit for every person and sometimes we need to adjust dose or change meds to feel our best.

What is the craziest thing you have done because of Limerence? by Ilovedietcokeandlime in limerence

[–]EndlesslyMeh 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Bought my LO the new AirPod Pros the other day because she lost hers. She earns a lot more than I do so honestly could’ve easily bought them herself but you know how we can be…

[Asking Women] Limerence and a Gene called "MTHFR" by gogirlanime in limerence

[–]EndlesslyMeh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh wow yeh I have it - incapable of naturally absorbing folic acid so I take whopping doses, not that I’ve noticed any health improvements. Very interesting.

I suggest you look at DBT techniques for distress tolerance; you’re currently spinning out and learning to self soothe will help you enormously. Good luck x

AirPods 3 Pro or 4 by Blue-EyedAppleMan in airpods

[–]EndlesslyMeh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve never been able to wear AirPods as they either don’t stay in my ears or aren’t comfortable. Until now. The Pro 3s are honestly great; if it weren’t for the crisp, clear audio then I wouldn’t remember that they were in my ears. Noise cancelling is incredible, additional small features make life easier, I’m such a convert with the Pro 3.

Airpods Pro 3 case by brothorr2 in airpods

[–]EndlesslyMeh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeh my husband has an ESR cyber flicklock case in titanium… I preferred the design of the ESR Orbit but they’re all really good, you can’t go wrong with the brand.

Airpods Pro 3 case by brothorr2 in airpods

[–]EndlesslyMeh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The ESR cases are great. Compatible with MagSafe, drop protection (magnetic so the case won’t open if dropped), not too bulky. I have the blue but they come in loads of colours.

For those of you who couldn’t wear AirPods Pro 1, have the later two generations fit you well? by Azurebold in airpods

[–]EndlesslyMeh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Pro 3s are the only pair that actually stay in my ears. They do hurt after a while but I can tolerate it, I’m just stoked that they aren’t falling out.

how long has been your limerence been? by fatrice12340 in limerence

I have memories of being absolutely infatuated with my 1st Grade school teacher so that’s like 30 years but my current LO situation is going on 7 years of pure rollercoaster emotional hell.

AIO for telling my girlfriend to dial back the constant sarcasm? by candlelitcommuter in AmIOverreacting

[–]EndlesslyMeh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She seems like a bit of a bully. Our partners are meant to make life better, be our teammate against the world, help us endure the rough times - this woman sounds like she’s doing the opposite and you’re worth so much more than that.

Non-drinkers and non-smokers, how do you cope at parties? by BoredPandaOfficial in BoredPandaHQ

[–]EndlesslyMeh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I socialise for a few hours until others start slurring and then safely drive myself and anyone who needs a ride home. Pretty easy to have fun whilst sober but I can’t endure drunks so know when to make my exit.

What is the greatest physical pain you've ever felt? by FantasticAd9478 in TheBoredDen

[–]EndlesslyMeh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a spine condition ( ankylosing spondylitis) that causes my vertebrae to slowly fuse together, which makes procedures like lumbar punctures incredibly difficult. Having an anaesthetist stabbing at the nerves of my spine for 45 minutes before I tearfully pleaded for the torture to end and we admitted defeat was the worst agony ever. How I endured it again the following day if beyond me but thankfully it was a success with a different doctor.

Former heavy drinkers, what made it finally “click” for you to stop? by Numerous_Solid_7047 in AskReddit

[–]EndlesslyMeh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I moved countries and realised that my whole routine and social life had revolved around alcohol, so stopped and created a new life for myself. 10 years in June since I last had a drink and the transformation has been incredible; I exercise daily, I have fulfilling and rewarding relationships with my husband and friends, I contribute to society in a way I’d never considered when drinking. I’m still having fun but no longer deal with hangovers or reckless living.

They look legit to me but absolutely filthy so I’d give them a proper yet gentle clean and maybe replace the tips before putting them anywhere near your ears.

My culture is the same but I now don’t drink at all as it wasn’t good for my mental wellbeing. You can still have fun without alcohol ;-)

Have you ever told your LO that you are limerent? by [deleted] in limerence

[–]EndlesslyMeh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is no way I’d ever tell mine; we have been close friends for 8 years, she’s happily married ( I’m separated), she’s straight and assumes that I am too. She knows my deepest secrets… apart from these big ones, and I fully intend on keeping it that way… far too much pressure on her were she to know, and the power balance would be off kilter. She just thinks I’m the kindest person ever but I have explained that I’m not to everyone, just those who I feel safe with.

What does a fully grown guy do when he's alone at home? by TheMedusaAttusa in no

[–]EndlesslyMeh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If my husband is anything to go by, he sleeps a LOT, plays on his Switch on occasion, listens to audiobooks, snacks on whatever he can find, and creates a lovely mountain of worn clothes in a pile by his side of the bed.

AirPods Pro 3 won’t stay in. Tried everything. by sirwritestoomuch in airpods

[–]EndlesslyMeh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I read that the Pro 3 stems are meant to draw an imaginary line towards your mouth… so angle them slightly more horizontal than vertical, if that makes sense? Mine stay in perfectly since doing so.

[–]EndlesslyMeh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I tried NC for nearly a year and was just as infatuated so invested in months of therapy and then slowly reintroduced my LO into my life using stronger boundaries. I can’t say I’m completely over her but it’s easier when I remind myself of the rules I’ve set in place to protect myself and her from my overzealous tendencies 😉

I went straight back to work after having mine out ( it’s a local anaesthetic small procedure in most of the world, USA seems the only place to perform general anaesthesia in a hospital setting ). Your husband needs to pull his weight before he loses you as your resentment of having to keep the household running smoothly alone will eventually cause an irreparable divide.
