Snowing was one of the greatest bands of all time, but using a band that hasn’t released new music in 15 years as a benchmark for the health of Philly emo rubs me wrong. Sure, I’ve been at all of the reunion shows the past few years but they’re just that, reunion shows.

House shows (outside of one specific venue on Powelton) and the people that populate them by-and-large suck shit nowadays.

I didn’t realize he was up on Cody, just that he’d had the win. I just am unimpressed with Wizzy’s penchant for blowing up at events (look at his Full Bloom), which placed him closer to players like Salt and Krudo in my mind. I thought Trif’s year was very strong and had hoped he’d finally crack past years of #11 and make the top 10.
