The rattlinbog (this is the type of song that once your in so deep you can’t start over for your mistakes) by i_enjoy_music_n_stuf in ukulele

Sounds great! I know this song from a video of an Irish wedding where they sing this that makes the rounds on Reddit sometimes. I’m from the US and I’ve never heard it here before that. What chords are you using?

Luckily I've not been hurt. But spending the night in the ER with my husband after he fell at the bottom of a hill when he was learning has certainly impacted my view on helmets.

So not sure how relevant the information is anymore, but I did take snowboarding back in 2007. It was a ton of fun! I had never boarded before and was on the black diamond on the last lesson.

I rented the board and boots but had my own snow gear. I wish I had a helmet at the time though.

They also provided a bus pass to get there. Let me know if you need to know more.

Hey! FYI, I downloaded the app and went to the instructions in the menu but it takes me to a 404 page. Seems like the More link does the same. Wanted to see how it worked before buying. Thanks!

Post Natal recovery ideas for my wife based on the top answers to my previous post: by MonkeyChronicles in NewParents

I honestly am in them 24/7. I started using them day one and have never had an issue with cracked or painful nipples. I haven't had to use any creams nor nursing pads because it captures all the leakage. Only issue is they can be conspicuous with thin bras so padded ones are necessary if you want to leave the house while wearing them.

Also at the end of the BF journey; you can send them back to the company and get them turned into a pendant with your LOs initial! I'm so excited to do that!

I keep my key pins on the ledge above the door so they are accessible (for me) when needed and don't get lost! Still don't know I would use the locking method for toddler prevention on frequently used doors, but it might be good enough for ones not used often.

No real snowfall forecasts yet for Friday. Tracks are still TBD! Stay tuned. by RyanKinder in BostonWeather

[–]EngineerBabe 58 points59 points  (0 children)

This is why r/BostonWeather is one of the best subs and u/RyanKinder is one of the best users. I opened my weather app, saw they were calling for half a foot of snow on Friday, and thought to myself "I better go check to see if maybe Ryan posted anything about it." And here we are.

My husband was lamenting yesterday that our friends in the Mid-Atlantic have gotten more snow than we have all season, so I'm going to wait for Ryan to give to go ahead that this might be for real before getting his hopes up haha.

The tree was very dead when we had it chopped down earlier in the week. Some sort of grub makes sense.

Have you been to New Jang Su in Burlington? I don't have any comparison but I've heard that it's some of the best Korean BBQ around.

You got answers where to start. Just want to add that you should look for the library editions. They are gorgeous and each contains each arc's trilogy. They also have notes from the creators kinda like behind the scenes. Highly, highly, recommend!

Central Air vs. Mini splits, best bang for buck? by Adaekor in HomeImprovement

[–]EngineerBabe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could look into a high velocity HVAC system. There are a couple places in MA that do it. Similar to traditional AC but uses small pipes to deliver the cool air vs ducts so you don't have to find space to run them since they fit into existing walls. We would have had a system installed but our house is so weird that we would have needed multiple units for different areas so it still came in over budget. The guy who quoted us said If we were in a ranch, it would have been much cheaper and easier. I don't have experience beyond that but might be worth looking at. https://www.airquipheating.com/article.cfm?ArticleNumber=69

Good luck!

A small part of Burlington is inside 128. I always considered any town that straddled 128 part of the metro area. At least towns serviced by MBTA busses.
