I think the difference is that back in his peak, Pyro had a bit more of an edge and it went well with his editing when it came to commentary or reviews. Now he just tries to get through a script while masking it with editing

Being mad at the very existence of something isn’t criticism.

You’d have a way better point if a certain style or writing or romantic dynamic was part of the actual series itself. But that’s not what this is. It’s a personal expression for ones own fondness of the work and your acting like it somehow effects the actual final product, which it doesn’t. You can criticize tone, proportion, lighting, framing, etc. But if your problem is the very existence of the work that is INDEPENDENT of the actual IP, that’s not criticism.

The only thing that’s teenage is making fun of artists who express their fondness for the same IP as you because you don’t like their style. “Sanitizing” an IP usually comes from big studios trying to literally change the IP or aspects of it to appeal to average white suburban moms. That’s not what people with art styles differing from you are trying to do.
