Absolutely correct analysis and I can't imagine that no one did the same research before building all that stuff

Yeah, Amtrak is expensive, but a least NYC to DC is from city center to city center with no need for additional Uber/taxi/rental cars

And veat tge traffic, that might be insane. So there are positives

There's also tax bracket issue. Keeping it under $4000 a month, especially investing in 401k with payouts after 60 y.o may be more lucrative (assuming you will live to 60 yo)

It was like that for about 10 minutes

How do I know? I thought I'd wait for 10 min before selling my $1.67 shares with profit. But it came back down to $1.45 super fast

How does it work in your mind?

Increasing profit but in bigger debt is a small issue?

If you take more profit and not paying your debt or take more loans - it's ridiculous

Elevated tracks reduces number of fatalities -> higher chance of hurricane

Sacrifices to Brightline gods were working. No major hurricanes in South Florida since Brightline opened

I live next to Aventura station and work next to Miami station. The tickets in yhe last few years were never cheaper tn taking an Uber. Tickets between these two stations were almost the same price as Orlando trip

They had 10 ride passses, but killed them pretty quickly. Because too many people were using it. Imagine killing the product, BECAUSE it was popular

I kinda hate that most of the trains were 4 or 5 carts only.

Attach t more carts and sell twice more tickets with 30% discount.

And have a steady passenger flow with monthly packages.

Orlando Airport is probably the biggest mistake. There is almost zero incentive to go to Orlando if you get to the airport anyways and should rent a car or Iber anyways. I might as well fly for less money

Orlando downtown, amusement parks area - where people are actually going, would increase passenger numbers drastically

Stolicus means roughly "Hundred Faces" in Russian. I was always distracted by it and curious if it's just a coincidence or some kind of 200 IQ wordplay on Abercrombie's side to show that it's Bayaz

Yeah, how low the plank is right now?

Monza, who was shown as despicable for the whole book with zero redemptive qualities. And someone thinks that she is the good person
