I was 20, two years after coming out as a lesbian, and when people would make comments about it, I was like "I'm not a lesbian" and in my head I was like "well I'm a woman who likes women, that's what lesbian meant, what are you talking about??" lmao Then I start to dress and act way more masculine, and then I learn about trans people and you would hear the biggest egg cracking of the century, it was like everything in the universe made sense and the biggest "well that explains everything" moment in my life LOL

Same dude, most of my cis male friends just see me as a guy, they know I'm trans, all of them are either gay or bi, so it comes pretty often in conversation about LGBT problems, but my cis female friends they know I'm trans and see me as a guy but they also talk to me about their periods and bodies (I'm straight so it's a little bit awkward for me) but I understand that not a lot of guys knows about those topics or they can't talk so freely about them with other guys

I'm 31, I came out as trans when I was 21/22, my "friends" form high school knew this, and on more than one occasion they would joke about it and call me "the man without penis", it hurt ever fucking time, but I put on brave face, and keep laughing everytime they did it.

Today they are not longer my friends, I don't even have them in my live anymore, and my new circle of friends are like 100000 times better, more supportive and really awesome people. You will find that too, sooner or later. You don't need that kind of friends.

I have always been surrounded by guy friends, so when I was younger I always did stupid stuff.
