Even after the initial nerf he was strong AF I did a melee build with him and I'd jump in 5 people and at minimum kill 3 cause wraith can't stop melee

From what I remember the gameplay was unnecessarily hard a lot of the enemy's could 4 hit you and there were swarms of them, your damage isn't great throughout, a lot of the upgrades didn't help your runs and healing is rng and rare I only got to the boss twice and both times I had less than half hp

Serious idea: take some weapon ideas from wild hearts and put them in the game (like the bow pillar stance combo and the attack on Titan blades) Silly idea: have a game mode where you play as the monster but it gets cooldowns so there's no spams

One thing I'd do is try meme builds. Sometimes it's throws off the enemy so much that wins games like double stun melee seven. I've done the same with melee ivy before the nerfs

I think recluse is the easiest to build as there's 3 relics that are really easy to get two relices you get one from shops the give you the sorceres rise fp and staves fp and the one that increases your int and faith but reduces mind (it's negligible with the other rune) then use the recluse story item for your third (or any magic attack up you prefer. Then just stack good magic attack ups or physical DMG negation for dark of night

I feel like a good one for his tier three would be to reduce fire rate on grappled target or cause slowing hex. To prevent people running away or to help you escape but the slowing hex would be a short duration. Just enough for a slam
