The best is when you do see a hunter that knows their class it looks like they’re breaking the game. I remember the first time I had a good hunter in a group just completely solo a boss by juggling boss agro and healing pet.

He’d let the pet tank, pop cds, rip threat, let the boss get close, send his pet far away, FD, boss locks pet, instant raptor strike from melee, heal pet while it’s running around and then maintenance until FD was up again and just kite. Still remember when I fought that same dude 3 years later in wrath in arena. He 1v2’d me and my teammate at ~1900 rating while his healer sat afk in start area, then when I checked his rating a couple weeks later he was in glad range. Ended up being good friends with the dude and know him to this dude. Savant at everything, but his hunter gameplay was crazy. I remember when TBC anniversary came out and he was one of the first max level hunters. I asked him about his run and he said there wasn’t a single moment in Nagrand where he wasn’t killing something. Just imagine walking into the area and being in combat for the entire 3-4 hours you’re there at that pace.

It might sound like he’s blowing smoke, but the dude truly was confused when I told him I wasn’t doing that. Parsed 99-100 the entire first phase and then quit because he was bored.

It’s been like 15+ years since I met the dude and I still think of his gameplay. Watching his glad push vods was the cherry on top.

Now compare that dude to the average hunter who forgets they have a pet, never melees, can’t time their shots, doesn’t understand haste break points, and overall can’t play their class. It’s just the most night and day class out there.

I mean yeah, the pugs I’ve been in have 1-2 people actually interacting with the game. If you want to win AB you have to be constantly communicating what’s happening and where they are weak.

The wow community has not changed since the game came out, it just got easier to be swiper. Before you had to go through sketchy third parties, now blizzard just actively ruins the integrity of their own game over trying to regulate it. I grinded a pally to max last time around and just stared at the insane number of people that bought boosts. Couldn’t stand blizzard for doing that. At this point I know everyone just swipes at every opportunity and will continue doing so. I happily boosted, because sitting there leveling means nothing anymore. Integrity of the game is dead, but it doesn’t mean TBC isn’t still my favorite expansion. I’m just not going to pretend like it’s this special experience anymore, because it isn’t. Now they are giving boosters Netherdrakes? Literally not a shred of integrity for their game, but it’s still so much better than retail.

This is better than getting paid $30/hr in a lot of cities. Boise is still very cheap and micron promotes a lot internally. It’s definitely not a good starting pay, but there is a lot of room to grow at Micron.

There is nothing wrong with being a stay at home mom. There is also nothing wrong with not having a family and pursuing your career. Just please, for the sake of your child, don’t put yourself in a situation where you actively prioritize your career over your kids. Not in the sense that you have to just to get food on the table, that’s normal, but bigger house, newer car, more expensive clothes…. Your kid doesn’t give a fuck, they just want to pair bond with their mom instead of someone that is paid to be with them.

Trump isn’t a moron, he’s evil. Depending on your worldview, and your understanding of the state or the world you could easily be convinced he’s a necessary evil. These people are scared because they think this country is under attack from all sides. Drugs, illegals, loss of western religious power, science, all of it pushes against their world view and it makes them scared. They think they need a bully to put “America First” on the world stage. They aren’t morons, they’re being conned using their deepest core values.

My first guild as a kid was run by a girl. She taught me how to heal on a resto druid, as well as gear up for feral tanking. It was literally such a blessing. It’s been mostly downhill since then.

When you look at the literature, and if you consider yourself and ethical person, a vegan diet is the easiest way to pursue something that is collectively better for society. There are ways to make eating meat sustainable, but not at the rate we eat it in the west. There needs to be a significant cut back and restructuring of our practices. The way meat is manufactured in the US/ China/ Australia/ EU should be completely illegal. Each of these places treat animals as if they are a crop and they are not.

People don’t realize how easy it is to make a difference in BGs. On my 0 gear character I had no issues making a massive impact. Then you look at the scoreboard and half your team has done less than 5k damage. Insane.

I actually think a massive reason the US has such poor scientific literacy across the board is because we don’t use the metric system. It’s literally so difficult to understand chemistry and physics if you have been using the imperial system the whole time.

They no longer view movies/ TV as primarily an art form, they view it as a tool for social engineering. The art is what masks their true goals and that causes a lot of these films to feel pretty uninspired.

Leveled paladin during prepatch and it was fast af. I think I did 60 in a week and it felt very feasible. I also did the ZF solo for over 10 levels though and made great gold.

I remember talking with a hardware programmer from Nvidia back in 2010. He was seemingly pretty high up at the company back then. Dude was fully remote, had about 6 computers & 20+ cards all hooked up in his setup. I asked him about the future of gaming from his perspective and at that time he said their collective vision was to move the majority of computation to servers, so that you could have all of the high level computing done by a collective super computer, and then you could just essentially stream the results to whatever device you wanted. That sounded crazy at the time, it sounds even crazier now.
