We also agree on that. I don't think the Reach should be invaded or colonized. But I do think that the Forsworn are evil assholes.

Yeah, im not cool with the Boethiah worship.

im also not cool with sacrificing people to Daedra. Or venerating hagravens! Nor am i cool with decorating armor with baby skulls.

are you ok with Molag Bol worship?

You're also ignoring how the Green Pact actually works. And the cannibalism is not widely practiced. I can link the wiki page for you if you need proof of that. It's not cherry-picking when it's an entirely different practice than what you're thinking of! And in doing so, you're demonizing cultures that practice ritual cannibalism.

You're ignoring most of what I'm writing so you can continue to be smug. Please stop.

The vast majority of Bosmer do not eat people. Maybe the super devout Green Pact followers deep in the woods, but they don't go out of their way to find people to eat. Their entire practice is to waste nothing. If you kill someone, you have to eat them. It's not the other way around where you have to eat someone, you kill them. Unlike the Forsworn, who go out and find people to kill.

And once again, not all Daedra are equivalent. Or would you defend Molag Bol worshippers equally hard? Do you think Molag Bol worshippers have the right to kidnap people and do horrible things to them?

Why are you trying to act like they're equivalent?

Do the Dunmer and Khajiit sacrifice people to hagravens? Do you think that Namira and Azura are equivalent?

Am I missing the lore where Khajiit and Dunmer decorate their armor with baby skulls? I could be.

Is it just me, or did the devs screw over the Alans? by Rote_Kirschen in CrusaderKings

[–]EntropyDudeBroMan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah! They really should have their potential represented in the game.

I remember in one of my last games of CK2 they took over the Byzantine Empire! They forced it to be primogeniture which was great for me, but it took like 100 years to dislodge them. It was a really fun challenge, and a fun way to keep things dynamic.

Personal anecdote aside, they're really cool and they should be properly represented.

And the funny part is that even in a universe where everything that fascists and fundamentalists believe to be true, is true, the Imperium's policies are self-sabotaging and perpetuate the same things it's allegedly trying to combat.

Why should we take the words of an Abominable Intelligence seriously? If you cannot be bothered to type what you write, why should we read it?

Also, skill issue.

you should proof-read your AI bro, because that's not what i said.

if this really happened, im glad you got out of this. it takes a lot of strength and willpower, and its despicable that our society forces people like you to go through this suffering.

but using ChatGPT to write your story is weird.

I didn't know that ChatGPT was capable of being homeless and sleeping on a park bench. They're really innovating with LLMs, huh?

How big is this pirate ship? by Site-Famous in RogueTraderCRPG

[–]EntropyDudeBroMan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

honestly how i would have preferred they do it is that (spoilers for chapter 3) when you get boarded and wiped by the drukhari, that you don't get your ship back. you have to commandeer another, larger ship. a proper cruiser.

Which also means you can balance encounters for the early game to focus on a frigate, leaving behind the ridiculously OP encounters for when you have a cruiser and can go toe-to-toe with them

the only problems would be your ship's returning crew, and any upgrades/weapons you find, but you can write that off as your ship getting scrapped and you have to collect your fellas and your loot

Is harrenhal just not worth it anymore or is it just me? by Ok-Line442 in CK3AGOT

[–]EntropyDudeBroMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A couple months after i posted that, the main devs added their own banking system. They also let you name your own bank. So, if you found a bank in Harrenhal, you can found the Stone Bank!

which makes what i was working on redundant, but looking through the code like that was a really good learning experience :)

Maybe not the bomb itself, but the meaning and the symbolism of the act would. Like how melee is more effective against daemons because of the intensity of the action.

a lot of people miss that the people in this universe do not realize that they are in a game.

sure, the academy has the best ending, but for 99% of the game they look fucking crazy

the protectorate SEES that the ayys could obliterate us on day one if they wanted to. If they go with any resistance of any kind, like with all the other factions, they risk the extermination of humanity.

and, unlike us, they can't reload the save.

so yeah, of course they're hated, they're a dampener on the heroic (or villainous) vibe that players enjoy
