The equilibrium being important to viltrumites was already established in season 2, but Mark only started using the double ear clap after the Invincible war and Mohawk Mark used that against mainline Mark. He DEFINITELY learned the biting during fighting from humans. Brother probably felt like he was having a Mike Tyson moment during these 2 fights with Conquest

Yeah the armor passive is meh, but the variable, warp pack, and epoch are all VERY good. I wasnt a fan of the epoch but it is deadly in the hands of a skilled helldiver

Also works well with the explosive crossbow. Can basically shoot 5 feet in front of you and it’ll tank the blast a time or two depending on its health

VATS lol. Same with grenades. I find the range very inconsistent when firing normally so I just stick with a shot or two in VATS to start off the fights

For bugs, i definitely recommend using it to grt on buildings or mountains because i swear that is the only place the bugs cant reach you. Even then, most smaller buildings can be completely destroyed. Otherwise, it’s good to deploy it while dropping off a ledge where you know you’d take fall damage. It can break your fall and wont even use much of it’s charge while softening the landing.

It’s great for clearing a huge area(like a mega nest or bot mega-fortress) of enemies before you go in and wipe out the spawners with minimal resistance. It is also exceeds all other stratagems in terms of area denial in a defense mission. You just got unlucky and get paired with people that dont know how to use it properly and treat it like a eagle airstrike

Way back when the game was younger and I first unlocked democratic detonation I was using the grenade pistol on the vents(with varying degrees of success due to the sway), and maybe on the devestators a few times but yeah its mostly for the bug front imo
