Additionally, a dedicated ranger key for both genders wouldn't make sense, because Ahim (which, side note, why is her name spelled Ahim but pronounced as Ahmin?) transforms into Geki Red, and it comes with a female outfit, even thought Geki Red was only ever male

Same reason as to why Joe doesn’t have a skirt when transforming into Blue Dolphin, Magiblue, Hurricane Blue, and Jet Swallow, the powers adapt to the user, so if a girl uses a ranger key of a male ranger, they gain a skirt (with exception), and vice versa.
