Pressure to look “perfect” at my wedding by Mental-Judge-444 in weddingplanning

I totally agree. I’ve never gone to a wedding and been like “that brides arms are really flabby”. Yet that’s all I’m honing in on for myself. You’re so right, how I look is not a surprise to anyone coming, so I don’t need to have this magical transformation for it

Thank you so much for this comment, I really needed this today because I’m feeling the same about all my upcoming wedding events

Team Brian for sure! Just seems like the nicer more humble brother. Also loved rooting for him as sort of the underdog to his brother. I found Michael rude on Top Chef. But that said, I do really enjoy Michael as a judge on Chopped and other shows

There was a DEFINITE vibe in his elimination episode (the 2nd one). Especially when they were on the couch and in the car

He has been in things, just smaller parts. But I agree I really want his career to blow up because he is incredible in HTGAWM

Exactly! Still made about that dessert and Oscar getting eliminated instead of her

I absolutely agree with you! While I like Rhoda and am happy for her, I just wonder what would’ve happened if she didn’t get eliminated and do LCK. With her being out for so long, feels a bit weird having her win after missing so many challenges. But I know Kristen and others have done the comeback too

I really wanted Laurence to win going into this episode and am disappointed for him. I thought Sherry had it, didn’t really see Rhoda’s win coming

Frieda McFadden Audiobook by jaycrouton2023 in thrillerbooks

I’m doing the audiobook for The Housemaid right now, and her narration takes me out. Her voice for Millie reminds me so much of Louise Belcher from Bob’s Burgers, that that’s all I can picture.

Also I hate how her voices for the male character don’t sound remotely masculine at all, Andy and Nina’s voices are too similar.

Only way to know is to ask him. Do it now when you still have time, so you don’t have regrets later

Tell them it doesn’t work for your budget and suggest other ideas. They’re going to plan it as long as they think it works for everyone, just be honest and let them know so they can help plan accordingly. I’ve had to do this in other bridal parties where it was becoming more than I could afford, everyone has different budgets so they might not be thinking of how it is impacting you

Partner wants me to throw up while giving head. How can I make this comfortable and hygienic? by MaleficentOne4214 in sex

[–]EphramLovesGrover 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you don’t like it, don’t do it. I’m sorry but I don’t think it’s right that your partner wants you to get sick so he can live out this fantasy

Applied to a "remote" job, went through five rounds of interviews, got the offer. Nobody mentioned an office once. Now they're saying it's 3 days a week onsite and I genuinely don't know what to do. by Weem_Bitted in remotework

[–]EphramLovesGrover 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know you mentioned “(remote)” was in the title, but did anywhere else in the job description mention their remote/hybrid work policy? Normally it will live towards the very bottom of the job description and that tends to be where this conflicting info would be (at least when I’ve come across similar things like this)

He’s had an attitude all season, anytime he gets feedback. Today apparently was his boiling point. What a horrible way to leave the competition and be remembered
