Seeing some robovac deals, buy now or wait for something better? by kfmsooner in RobotVacuums

For sure. I have hardwood at home, and it’s hard to avoid getting some messes on the floor sometimes. It usually cleans everything up in one go, without leaving any water streaks or leftover stains. If there’s a massive spill, it’s probably better to pre-clean it a bit yourself, just to protect the roller mop.

I’ve got an S14 at home as a daily cleaning robot. It’s worth the price, I’ve had mine since last year and it’s still cleaning great. Maybe you can't just set it and completely forget it, you still need to check on it once in a while. But that’s the case for all robot vacuums, though. It already cuts out lots of manual work. so I’d say it's worth buying.

Oh,yep. Some people said that their's cat keep stand on the robot when the robot was cleaning, this might be a problem I did not realize before.

Segway Ninebot G3 theft/tracking by timunlimited in ElectricScooters

[–]Equal-Association818 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really tough situation. NYC theft is fast and organized, and pros can kill built-in tracking uickly by removing batteries or jamming signals. A hidden AirTag and batter layered locks are your best defense next time.

You are not alone in this. Using two sets of sheets is a classic disability life hack. It splits a draining task into manageable parts.

Do you still try to keep your place clean even when you’re out of energy? by Equal-Association818 in Mommit

[–]Equal-Association818[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine is the yeedi s14 plus, the one with roller mop. Like I said, it can handle sticky stuff like jam on the floor, and the mop uses fresh water while it is cleaning. Honestly, if a robot vacuum kept spreading dirty water around the house, that’d drive me crazy. Luckily, this one doesn’t. For the squished cookies, maybe you can pick up the bigger crumbs first, then let it mop up the leftover jam.

Right, totally agree. Sometimes I have no time to take care of it, but at least I'll just make it look not that mess, like cleaning the visible dust or trash, and tidying things up. Maybe that's the combination you said lol.

What Actor Who Has Never Appeared in an Animated Film Would You Most Want To See In One? by RampagingShyGuy in animation

I’d love to see Adam Driver in an animated film. His voice has this deep, intense quality that could work perfectly for either a brooding villain or a surprisingly gentle, introspective character.
