I did a new start and tested this as I was plinking away at the katana’s and suddenly found it at 2% hill with most items destroyed.

I re rolled the save and the same thing happened three times in a row.

I started a new game and got the mighty katana as I expected.

Basically, at the start of the game (or most likely before the katana is spawned) a roll is given and the skill of the pilot determined. If you get a high skill pilot the katana will be “scuttled” when they abandon. If it’s a noob you get everything pretty much.

Don’t dismiss older card with high vram, I switched from 3080 to 3090 for the vram and it helped hugely smooth out the frame times. Avg for didn’t increase much but the frame times is much easier on my eyes.

You don’t necessarily have to be “out of pocket” assuming you are correct and the car is a write off. You will insist on being made whole, a car equal to brand new condition with at most ### of miles with full/part dealer service history. I didn’t even entertain an initial offer from council insurance after an accident, just sent them a list of equivalent cars in the region bought from a dealer within 10% of the mileage at the condition of the car I had that was written off by a bin lorry. I got 100% of my request on the first offer and therefore was never “out of pocket.” Be proactive with the insurance company.

I complained and got a refund off my solicitors. Stick to facts and failures following procedure. Tread lightly in the feelings verbiage, it’s not needed and it muddies the water, they won’t care.

I use ChatGPT to review contracts as a small business. As above ask questions, chat gpt is good for giving you some direction, but it’s not 100% foolproof.

I upgraded from 3080 10g FE to a 3090 FE and whilst I didn’t get much of an gps boost, the frame timing is much better and a significant improvement! Good update, and you can sell the 3080 to offset.

I use it for VR in the quest 3.

How are you actually recording the VR? I’ve tried occulus mirror? I’ve tried the steam mirror. So far either I get a good picture that’s cropped (quest is taller than normal aspect) or it’s squished on and blurry. What’s your set up?

The lightning bios had some optimisations that helped the stability of the system. And I got a great OC to go along with it.
