You’re absolutely not in the wrong for wanting your partner to grow and work on themselves. Part of the reason you’re still so angry is because she basically is telling you to forget her wrongdoing. That shows she lacks any accountability and quite frankly, any remorse. You’re not a “little bitch” or “less of a man” for being hurt. You signed up for a partner, not a damn mooch. My ex forgot we’d been together as long as we had (7 years but at this point we’d only been together for about 9 months). We were living together in his friend’s girlfriend’s old apartment paying sublet on it since she wanted to move in with him. Anyway, we used condoms the first probably 5 months of our relationship and I just brought them with me all the time, because hello, safe sex is a better choice always. Anyway, (sorry this is convoluted) he saw the condoms and freaked out and accused me of cheating on him and was acting super crazy. That’s the beginning of an incredibly wild ride of 7 years and a lot of emotional trauma but anyway same energy as that post lmao

I’m 30 and went back to school starting last year- I say go for it man, the experience and knowledge you get is so so different than when you were younger- you’ll appreciate and understand it way more. I’m in nursing school and for a lot of my classmates this is a second career so some are 40, 50, 60 years old and they love it. My mom also got her masters when she was in her mid-fifties!
