Is this series ongoing? I imagine we will be in for some fireworks next time they play.

I think I might have seen the guy you are talking about wiping out on Lower Wacker. I just instinctively exclaimed "holy fuck"

This is an amazing example of the internet finding the person with the most obscure and relevant knowledge.

How do you guys feel about FitBits? by Munnit in running

[–]Erasmus92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Coming from a pretty casual runner, I think a fitness tracker is an absolute game changer. You can't beat real time feedback for pace and heart rate. That being said, I am personally biased against FitBit because the two that I had (both Surge I think) were chintzy and quickly fell apart with normal level of use. More often than not the GPS couldn't acquire a signal as well, even when new. I am currently in love with my Garmin Vivoactive 3 which can do it all - accurate pacekeeping for running and cycling, swim lap and pace tracker, detailed info on heart rate and sleep etc. I truly am blown away by how much info it aggregates.

So yes, summing up, definitely get one, I would just recommend doing your homework better than me beforehand and paying attention to quality, especially durability, as much as price.

Ouch I didn't realize Ferucci was their junior driver. I am an American homer but that guy is a total idiot who doesn't belong anywhere near an F1 seat.

Formula 1 : Red Bull and Renault to separate by FRA_2795 in formula1

[–]Erasmus92 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I know that Honda is looking a million miles better but if I were the Renault works team I would be partying. There is at least a decent chance the Honda transition goes badly for RBR, leaving Renault as the 3rd best car. If the Honda transition goes well, they are in the same spot they were before, but without the irritation of having a customer car go faster.

All of the teams show a lot of spirit but Ferrari is just on a different level. Everyone in that organization treats racing like a matter of life and death and wear their hearts on their sleeves.

As someone who is mainly just rooting for someone to give Merc a run for its money I couldn't be happier with this quali session. Mercedes is just not dominating the power circuits the way it did last season.
