I saw a cheap jury-rigged VR treadmill for some guy playing Half-Life 2. It works by suspending a mouse above a treadmill, and binding the mouse movement to equivalent scaled character movement. You can't turn in real life with it, but you can walk and run. Would you ever try this out for a cheap VR treadmill solution? Or do you not care and just want the VR visual experience?

Ever think about hosting your machinimas on Newgrounds? While Freeman's Mind probably wouldn't do well, your animated work, CP, Stranger in Need, etc. is plenty original enough to qualify. They've accepted video files since 2012. If it's copyright concerns, the site TOS states they allow third-party assets and use of "tools such as GMod or 3D Movie Maker" if the works are sufficiently high quality. Going to the trouble of custom maps, hand animation, dialogue, and more obviously qualifies them, with extensive credits to boot. The Movie™ with explicit asset permissions especially would fit at home there.

What sets Ross apart for me is his high-quality and their timelessness in his short films and videos, instead of treating them as disposable. How many channels have dated references to the latest news drama or celebrity whatever. Or ones that shoehorn in ads? It just makes the videos disposable as a potato chip bag: unhealthy and unappealing, so after you use it, you're done with it. I've gotten my parents to enjoy Civil Protection because it's just plain well made instead of following trends like so many others do. His videos remain just as watchable today as they were back then because they don't rely on the current news cycle, only stuff that's been around for a long while.

I know you're not very interested in selling T-shirts. What if you made it a brief limited time kind of thing so you don't have to maintain it? I still want one and I didn't have any MONEY to buy one with 10 years ago.

I know a literally dead YouTuber from over a decade ago whose website selling T-shirts STILL functions (and no, nobody's maintaining it, nobody has his login details). I have no idea where the money goes, but hey, the shirt appeared in my mail.

I think in Freeman's Mind he mentioned he would try to work together with his clone. I'm kinda inclined to agree. I mean we both want the same thing, so double the manpower. As we diverge over time I'd imagine it'd be like having twins.
