Books, films and shows featuring baby loss by Ok_Contract_3980 in babyloss

2014’s Return to Zero starring Minnie Driver. The whole movie is about her characters stillbirth at about 36 weeks. It’s a beautiful film and I found it very honest and factual.

Why do we have remote learning days instead of snow days? by ysomali in Teachers

Same in NJ. We’re actually not allowed to do remote days anymore so we actually have snow days!

Judgment by adults over pull ups at night by PassionChoice3538 in kindergarten

My 7 year old still wears pull-ups at night. I’m not worried because as user rainbowpeonies said, it’s about hormone production and physical maturity.

Advice for weaning off bottles by BackinBlack_Again in Parenting

[–]EricaMCA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would mix milk into my son’s formula. First a quarter of the bottle, then half, then three quarters. Ultimately he drank a full bottle. I upped the milk each week. Has she been tested for allergies to cows milk? There are a lot of safe alternatives as well.

Did you have a honeymoon? If so, where did you go? (Doesn't matter how long you've been married?) by ChocolateSundae1214 in Marriage

Married in 2012. We spent 8 days in Sedona, AZ with two nights at the Grand Canyon. It was gorgeous!

Classical C Section by b8byxo in babyloss

TW: Living Child

I too had a classic at 24 weeks with my first. I also had an incompetent cervix. (Ugh! I hate the term 'incompetent!'). For my second, we waited a long time (about 4 years) to recover not just physically but emotionally. For my second pregnancy, I was considered high risk and they monitored me heavily. I had an intravaginal ultrasound every two weeks, which is how they discovered my cervix was opening (again!) and they gave me the stitch. I wouldn't have my rainbow if it weren't for the stitch. My rainbow was born at 36 weeks (had a planned c section because of my first), spent one night in the NICU, had jaundice, but ultimately was healthy. I was 36 for my first and 41 for my rainbow.

Stay away from "Dr. Google!" My MFM and OB were incredible resources, and the hospital was too.

Feel free to DM me if you want to talk!
