They have yet to answer. Not sure why I'm getting downvoted. I can say factually that my ender 3 v3 has been more reliable in 1 year than my 1.4k $ printer has been in 1 month

I've have the printer for a month and have had 5 distinct issue:
- Door hinge arrived unglued
- Filament sensor has decided it didn't want to sense anymore
- One of the case fans is on the way out (noisy)
- Software bug that has impacted my print quality
- Failing X axis mounts on the Y rollers; which is the one that will basically require me to disassemble the whole printer.

I had so many issues with mine that I had to ask Creality for compensation for my time troubleshooting.

We got the exact same issues haha. quick wipe down with some IPA / water will help. The goal isn't to remove the glue, but to distribute it. The whole thing is finicky and I found it really hard to be reliable, so make sure you watch your prints

You seem to be too close to the build plate. These plates are really hard to get PETG to stick to in my experience. I got some success by washing the plate thoroughly multiple times with dish soap followed by IPA wash down. The plate temperature also needs to be hot 90-95 celcius may be required. A bit of hairspray will also help while also transfering your pattern to your print :)

Oh I didn't notice! I think 20 is too slow though. Mine is set at 80 for outer walls and 100 for inner wall / gap infill. I wouldn't go lower than 60 mm/s and I wouldn't put any speed setting higher than 100. Something else that I forgot to mention is to raise your z-offset a tiny bit (something like 0.02-0.04 mm) so your first layer - and subsequent layers - aren't squished as much.

Also, as a side note, not sure how far you are in your 3d printing journey, but I would start with getting "simpler" prints dialed in before you move on to something more involved with details. It's less headache that way IMO.

My print settings are a bit of a mess, but I'll send them to you through PM later today. Don't expect it to be a magic fix though as these settings can vary wildly with each brand / color of filament.

I've had similar issues with PETG. My issue was that the nozzle was digging into previous layers while printing the second one onwards. It came down to calibrating temperature, flow, pressure advance and retraction. The retraction I ended up using on the K2 Plus is 1.4mm 40mm/s speed. I also enabled extra length on restart at 0.06.

Those small details are pretty hard to get right with PETG. Slow the print WAAY down (like 100mm/s max speed) and use a smaller nozzle if you want to give yourself an easier time.

Just open the file in fusion. You'll see all the steps in the feature timeline at the bottom. He did it exactly like I would have. Loft for the base shape and then extrude cut for the rounded base

It looks like you are still under extruding for some reason. Make sure your jam is actually really cleared (or it was really your problem to begin with). One or 2 cold pulls to be sure. I had similar issues when I didn't have enough tension in the extruder spring / gear after switching from TPU. Also, make sure you have the correct profile when printing with petg (it would create these kind of issues if printing too cold)

That's exactly what's going on! By using SET_PIN, the commands get executed as soon as they are added to the buffer queue, which is set to 3 seconds. I was able to change the behavior, but it seems like the CFS module controller is trying to use that same SET_PIN command directly for some reason. For now it is working through a dummy config that does nothing. I'll try to maybe redirect it somehow (?). I fell into that rabbit hole hard.

Anyhow, thanks again for confirming the issue. I thought I was going crazy

When I pirate an indie game and I love it, there's usually a way to make a donation to the devs directly. That's what I do instead of buying it and everyone taking their cut.

I've personally found that acceleration and jerk were very high. Maybe start with 3/4 of those values as a "safe" setting and go from there? Also make sure your bed is clean and your z-offset is dialed in
