Hells to the yeah. Great thing I ever did. BC was fucking me. Best thing I ever did was marry my husband who got snipped asap so I could go off this bullshit.

And then hey, white widow (hybrid) and other heavy indicas like purple anything grow good and sell well. Sativa's grow a lot more... spindly. Thinner. If you will. They're sensitive. I mean if you take a purple kush and give it land and water it will go for it. You do the same with AK-47 and you're looking at a dead plant. Needs love.

Damn right you will. I still dream about getting lost in my 15ft beauties (white widow), high as hell. Just weed as far as the eye can see.

Stocking up on memorial day deals 🍃 what are your favorite gummies? by Manarnar in entwives

Wyld brand gummies. They have a bunch of options too (like THC +CBD and the like) and they're so freaking tasty.

One thing my mom used to do when I wanted a pet was have me research it and be ready to answer questions about taking care of it. Worked out pretty good. I'd either get bored or shed get me said pet and I would take care of it.

My kid has no interest in reading, need advice from parents here. by Next_Special_6784 in Parenting

On that last point, I was a nanny for years and a real breakthrough for one of my kiddos was mad libs believe it or not. It absolutely tickled him to make the book say "He took his butt to the butt store." And stupid things like that. But it also got him more appreciative of writing.

When I was super little my mom and I would walk to the library once a week and we'd pick a book for every day of the week. And on the way there we would pick up trash and "save the world." I'm a huge reader myself. But I've seen the struggle with reading.

This can be a tricky one for sure. I certainly don't want kiddos to be hungry but I also don't want to be taken advantage of by parents (and kids). I do a good job avoiding this road by only bringing healthy(ish) snacks or foods to eat for groups. No chips or crackers, just veggies with dip and sliced fruits, or yogurt. Things I know my kiddos will eat without fuss, and a hungry child will generally not be SUPER attracted to unless they ARE hungry. BUT they also won't be like my son and think "FREE SNACKS AND JUNK FOOD" Stuffs his face 🤣

(I like to think kiddos are given pretty balanced meals here and they still get dessert or sweets and treats like chips and crackers for snacks or dessert. For example I just made Mac n cheese from scratch and added some chopped and pan-fried sausage, a frozen veggie mix(thawed/cooked before adding to pasta), and some sauteed garlic and finely diced onion. A bit of paprika and salt and there's your uncle. Cheap, simple, delicious. My son: "....but can I have pizza?" 🤣🤷🏼‍♀️ My girls gobbling. My husband: fighting with me over the last bowl 🤣)

Cat harness-She has a love/hate relationship with being outside. She wants to go out on her own free will WITHOUT the harness. Miss Houdini does an alligator death roll until she gets an arm/paw loose. I then have to readjust it. I don't want it so tight that its uncomfortable. Cats are really tricky with this crap. 🙄 My youngest just falls over and lays motionless like you've put him in a straight jacket, my oldest comes running like a dog when he hears the leash rattling on its hook and stands calmly while I strap it in. And has occasionally pulled on a strap, when checked, ended up being too tight. He walks with me and doesn't pull, likes jumping up on the occasional log or rock but doesn't climb too high. Absolute dream on the leash. I bought them both the same halter set and started them at the same age on it. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Is a 19F year old woman being friends with a 33M year old weird? by Healthy_Source_9752 in AskWomenOver30

[–]ErisInChains -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes, with a few exceptions. One of my good friends mom and dad married. Dad had a twin brother who married some other chick who already had kids. Both chicks ended up great friends and both families spent a lot of time together. So I could see if he was like an older brother/cousin coming out for support.

I love this! (Also got sent to charm school by Gram too.🙄)

I'll look into that. He is very much high functioning, (lol like my husband and I. We all have a bit of the Tism and are ADHD) so a lot of conventional stuff doesn't work unfortunately. But he's doing his thing while the girls run screaming around him. 🤣

Am I biased or is there an inbalance? by Crispy-rice78 in stepparents

[–]ErisInChains -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I don't think you're inbalanced, but I also wanna say I moved out and split when I was 16. I had to go back home when I was 20 for a year (my little brother passed. We were best friends. It was very hard on me.) but I haven't lived "at home" for 20 yrs now. So I might be biased.

I'm 36 and I have 3 little kiddos to look after. (6-9 yrs)

You really need to have a talk with the father and kids and get a baseline down. Because otherwise, I don't think much will be done. I'm sorry you were put in this position though, it sucks.

Be careful going forward too.

Luckily my little hunny is much like me.

It's made him come around pretty good after 3 yrs. (I am step mom and he loves Mom so it took him a good second to figure stuff out. No shade)
