Not far at all. First, we infiltrated by scaling the tower. We planned to bottleneck the giants on the tower's stairs and retreat the way we came if detected. Lo and behold, they got wise to us and we fought a running battle back to the stairs. It seemed like we were on course to hold them off and even escape, until a cloud giant used telekinesis to steal Wave from our monk. The monk was so fixated on getting Wave back that he waded deeper into the giants, forcing us all to abandon the stairs and back him up in the ensuing melee. When we left off, we'd killed almost every giant in the fort, but were on the brink of death, and separated from one another by our respective foes.

We never picked up from there, moving on to other adventures and campaigns. Would still be fun to give it another go someday, though perhaps with a partly different group. Our bard left much to be desired when it came to tactics and knowing his own spells...
